I love credit cards so much!

IIRC Chase posts the AF on the 1st day of the month following your anniversary, so you should see it on 10/1.

According to DoC, Ally does not work. I've noticed Ally working for less and less. You'll want to open the account with $25 initial funding, then push from one of the banks listed as working.

Well I am pretty jealous of those mailers. BoA is the normal public offer so don't feel rushed to go for that one (but it is a good card).

Apply for the PUBLIC TY Premier offering first (linked). Then use your TY Premier mailers, 60 days apart.
Thank you! So Citi will let me have 2 TY Premier cards with them?

Another horrible thought crossed my mind. Will this count against his 5/24 Count? Because it was an open card that then got closed in the last 24 months

Reports on r/churning that Plastiq's Masterpass promo is charging a fee for checks but not for electronic payments:

For @disneybirds - If you haven't tried already, search the "recipient's name" + "Plastiq" on a web search and see if there's a result that comes up from Plastiq.com. That's where you can find out if Plastiq has a electronic direct deposit relationship with the recipient. Honda should be in there.

I wonder if Plastiq killed fee free check payments early because:
(1) There's a glitch;
(2) Checks may not arrive in time to qualify;
(3) A good number of people were MSing the Masterpass promo by sending checks to their friends or SO.

I think @havaneselover had indicated that the $25 from Fidelity worked as a DD, while the $1500 from Ally would just be to avoid the monthly account fees. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though!

Oh okay, yes this makes more sense. Chase's bonus doesn't require a specific amount of DD, just one DD to trigger the bonus. So as long as Fidelity counts as a DD, this will work. And then you can push $1500 from any bank account to leave in the Chase account until you can close it in 6 months.

Alternatively, you can push (then pull out) $500 from Fidelity once per month to waive the fees if you don't want to leave $1500 in there.

Citi will let you have as many of a single card as they will approve you for.

Yeah, I think it would come out being sort of 6 of one or half a dozen of another either way I did it. I only have $400 in my Fidelity account ($200 deposited, $200 bonus). So either way I'd have to send money from Ally to Fidelity, and then transfer it in and out to Chase. I figure even moving $1500 from Ally, I'm still coming out ahead on the bonus money than I would on the interest earned on the $1500 with Ally.

I just need to sit down tonight and do it and have it all loaded into YNAB so I don't forget where my money is. :rolleyes1

@DisneyMandC (since I mentioned waiting to see what Q4 would bring), and others with the Freedom card - Q4 bonus categories are:

Wholesale clubs
Department stores
ChasePay

Oh I can definitely work with that! Big improvement for me over Q3. Based on that, looks like we'll get our CSR and then try to max Q4 on CF. I usually do a little bit of department store shopping around Christmas, so between that and Costco, I'm happy with my options.

I'm back with another dumb question! And I just want to say thanks to everyone who helped with my first dumb question :). So I was approved for the CSP card! :banana: In regards to the rewards points, I know I'll get 50,000 bonus points for meeting the $4,000 spend requirement. Do I also get points for all those purchases as well? Like say I buy $4,000 worth of plane tickets. Will I get points for that purchase plus the 50,000 bonus points? Or just 50,000 bonus points?

Thanks, I saw that last night. For some reason, when I try to add this recipient and upgrade delivery, it takes me to the review page but doesn't have a save button. I have tried on 3 or 4 browsers, but I can't add the payee. Masterpass is also not letting me login this morning. I think this is the appropriate feeling this morning! :badpc:

May try to get a MO later today, but knowing my luck I am not hopefully. I always seem to try things right as they die ... Plastiq/CIP, Sam's/Dosh, CSR/CSP DD. Of course, we can always spend these organically or buy more Disney GCs!

You will get the points on the purchases as well as the bonus.
