Can someone help me plan epcot with rides and booths for one day?
Is there any thread that can help with the itinerary?

We only had one day and just planned our rides for when we could get FPs for what we wanted - set it up as Future World early (we did Living with the Land and the Spaceship Earth) and then did Frozen ever After mid afternoon (like 3:30) since that was in World Showcase. Did the Mexico Ride as we got into World Showcase

Hope that helps

We’re doing something similar. We are doing future world in the morning with FPS for spaceship earth and mission space. Then I got a frozen fp for like 12:30 ish so we can be at booths eating and use that fp.

What are the in-app purchases with this app? Is it usable without them?
I have been using this app for about 2weeka and have not seen any in-app purchases. It is very useful, gives prices as well as indicates DDP credits and everything can be seen on a map view or list view

I would not buy the wines from the festival center. I would take note of it and buy it at home. It’s anywhere from a 25% to 100% mark up depending on the wine.

I live in an area with high “sin tax”. I’ve actually found wine cheaper at the festival center

We just spent the last few days gorging ourselves around the world. :)

We loved just about everything we bought. A couple of stand outs for me were the charred chimichurri steak skirt from the Flavours of Fire booth, everything from India and the Phosphorescent Freeze from Light Lab.

We did throw out the seafood salad from the Spain booth. My husband and son didn’t like the oil and vinegar dressing. And I really wanted to love the loaded Mac n cheese from the Active Eats booth, but I found it too salty.

That mad and cheese was inedible last year IMHO. I threw most of it away

I was there opening day of the festival and only had part of a day since I was flying home that night, so I had to fit as much in as possible. What I did was arrived around 8:30am - it was a AP holder day so I could get in early for the festival center. There was also EMH, so if you could choose a day with EMH that would buy you an hour. I spent the first two hours riding rides - I got on Test Track (single rider line), Frozen, Figment (FP) and Soarin (FP that I modified that day) all by 11am. After that, I was focused on the booths. I went around World Showcase counter clockwise (starting at Canada) stopping to eat when I wanted to until I was full. Then after a break in the festival center to shop and meet an artist who was signing, I went back around the other direction so I could try food on that side. I ended the day with a little more shopping at Mouse Gears and then left.

Now I didn't go in with a specific plan of what food I wanted and where to get it since it was the first day and not all the details were out yet. You could plan out your day more looking at menus/pictures/prices since they are out there. My best advice is definitely try to take two laps during the day and vary the direction. Then you get will be hungry for things on both sides of the showcase.

I think I could probably have gone in and stood with him, but I had my 2-year old with me as well who I was trying to distract from the fact that he wasn't allowed to participate! The space is also kind of tight, so I think it might be difficult for a lot of other people to stand in there. I stood on the outside of the little space, which was only about five feet away, and when he called me over I was allowed to go in.

Thank you

Thanks. We are going to be in the World for more than a week so I intend to buy some to enjoy in our room. It has to be better than what's on offer in the resort gift shop. :)

Does anyone know if they allow refills at the Italian Food, Wine vs. Beer Pairing?
They have in the past. Just make sure you grab the servers attention when you see them starting to pour the refills as they only have a set amount of each beer or wine to pour and are reluctant to open another bottle once they start to pour for the next pairing for the next course of the meal.

You mentioned earlier that you plan to visit on the EMH day but didn't specify if it was the morning or evening EMH. The F & W booths close at normal park closing time even if the park remains open for PM EMH . The booths will not be open during the PM EMH so you would need to visit them before the Fireworks begin that evening.

Day 4 of festival. Reports of an hour wait for the AP cutting board and “system issues.” I’m heading to the Festival Center in a bit and will see... (my first day so not eligible for board yet)

Oh wow! :( Hoping they work out those kinks. Thanks for reporting!

Ugh. There was a really long magnet line on Friday, but it moved pretty quickly. Hopefully they’ll have sorted out the cutting board issues by tomorrow morning. We were hoping to pop over to Epcot to collect them before our 2pm Magic Express pickup, and I really don’t want to waste the whole morning in line...

Itinerary planning for Food & Wine really comes down to personal preference. I suggest downloading a park map (so you can see the layout of attractions), a festival map (so you can see the layout of the F&W booths), and the Marketplace menus. Only you can determine which things are most important to you and which you are okay skipping. The maps should help with your plan of attack.

Thanks for your help!! I have the F&W app that is great but as it is my first time in WDW I don't know how much time to allocate for each booth.

Thanks!! I'm doing something similar.
Rope drop Test Track and Soaring. Then FP for Nemo.
Planning some time at the Festival Centrer and Light Lab after 10.30.
Then going to WS and FP for Frozen around 1.30 pm.
Then we are leaving and coming back around 7.30 for Iluminations and evening EMH. Hoping to see the pavillions then.
What do you think?

I think that should work - depending on how many booths you want to hit. To be honest I am not sure if they are open during EMH or not
