More tastes from today. Mostly busts on the new trys, and plenty repeats of the ones we enjoyed the last couple of days.

Thailand, absolute bust. No one in my party liked the beef curry or the chicken. Words to describe it were disgusting, mush, gross and weird. You can tell no one liked it. And this coming from people who really like Thai and curry.

Brisket sandwich from America. Eh. Not a lot of flavor, small amount of meat, huge bun.

Taste of Greece. Chicken souvlaki flavorful and tender. That will go in rotation. Feta cheese dip was solid. Lamb meatballs lacked flavor.

We’re done for the weekend. Back in a few weeks for a girls only trip.

We just spent the last few days gorging ourselves around the world. :)

We loved just about everything we bought. A couple of stand outs for me were the charred chimichurri steak skirt from the Flavours of Fire booth, everything from India and the Phosphorescent Freeze from Light Lab.

We did throw out the seafood salad from the Spain booth. My husband and son didn’t like the oil and vinegar dressing. And I really wanted to love the loaded Mac n cheese from the Active Eats booth, but I found it too salty.

Where can I get a PDF of the booklet (or something similar) so I can plan where I want to go and what I want to eat prior to my trip?

I’m pleasantly surprised by the price on a couple of the wine flights this year, not too bad a value. Now the price increase on the Veuve is ridiculous, you can get a full glass in a TS restaurant for that price or a couple of dollars more.

I must admit that I thought the amount of adults at the Candy Sushi activity was odd, but I had just assumed it was an activity designed for kids (which it doesn't say anywhere online, I just hadn't read it properly). My 5-year old wasn't super comfortable going and sitting with a bunch of adults he didn't know to do the activity, so if we did it again I think I'd sign up to do it with him. Honestly, his favorite thing about it was that he got a cute paper chefs hat with Remy on it!
This makes me think that if they do this again next year, perhaps have kids' sessions and adult sessions? Or say that any kids must be accompanied by an adult? I could see it being uncomfortable or awkward for a lot of kids in your son's position.

If you have an iPhone you can skip the booklet and download an unofficial app called WDW Food&Wine. It’s what almost everyone is using!

Just FYI... one issue I already had with this... when the app updated to add prices, I lost all of the "wished for" and "favorite" selections I had made. Not a huge deal to redo once, but if there are going to be other updates and it happens again, kinda' defeats the purpose of the app a bit. Perhaps my situation was unusual, though.

I think the app is a great tool, especially in terms of having your list with you in the park and keeping track of what you tried. But if you were looking for something to print out (sometimes I like to get old-school with my highlighter, LOL) you could copy/paste the below into word or create a pdf. Happy planning!

I have the app and did not have any problem with the update.

Can someone help me plan epcot with rides and booths for one day?
Is there any thread that can help with the itinerary?

Sorry I asked this questions some pages before but there was no answer and I'm not sure this is the right thread for itineraries.
Thanks in advance! Any help will be really valuable

Yeah I think that would be a good idea. My son is usually really outgoing and can talk to anyone, but he's not used to sitting with a large group of adults he doesn't know. Over on the other side of the table there were a few kids sat together, so I suppose if we'd gotten there earlier and had more seating choice, we could have sat by them.

Itinerary planning for Food & Wine really comes down to personal preference. I suggest downloading a park map (so you can see the layout of attractions), a festival map (so you can see the layout of the F&W booths), and the Marketplace menus. Only you can determine which things are most important to you and which you are okay skipping. The maps should help with your plan of attack.

Were you able to go in and stand next to him or was he on his own in there. Our daughter is signed up but we aren’t. She might be a bit shy about it if she can’t be near us

I think I could probably have gone in and stood with him, but I had my 2-year old with me as well who I was trying to distract from the fact that he wasn't allowed to participate! The space is also kind of tight, so I think it might be difficult for a lot of other people to stand in there. I stood on the outside of the little space, which was only about five feet away, and when he called me over I was allowed to go in.
