joining in. My internet is being frustrating so I will comment better on future posts. Great so far.
Sounds yummy! She ended up ordering the Special shake of the day, a Chocolate Covered Strawberry Milkshake
So do I!Gwen LOVED the hidden Mickey in the BBQ sauce.
Yeah for the girls! And for you!And in related news, our pool club has all of the kids take a swim test in order to swim int the entire pool by themselves. Morgan tried out for her high band on Friday and passed! This was big because for her to get her high band, she had to jump off the diving board that she said that she would NEVER jump off it. And SURPRISE, she loves jumping off the diving board now! And Gwen tried for her low band on Friday and passed as well! So, now they can go jump in the pool with out us! So, maybe I can actually read a book this summer.
Hello Everyone!
Tiny Real Life Update: Our Memorial Day weekend was nice. It is always nice to get an extra day in the weekend. Saturday was 90 degrees here, so we headed to the pool and spent the afternoon there. Which was really nice. While there, Morgan decided that she wanted to sign up for the summer swim team again. So, NOW I am scrambling to figure out camp situation for July. And all of our weekends have gone poof! Away! She will have swim meets each Saturday. But truth be told I am SUPER proud of her, she didn't want to do it again, as she says she isn't good enough. And it was a BIG deal that she even wants to try it again. So, proud of her. Fingers Crossed she has a better experience with it this year! Her first practice is today! Eek! Wish her luck!
Welcome!!!! I hope to get back to posting a bit more regularly!joining in. My internet is being frustrating so I will comment better on future posts. Great so far.
It really works out well, as long as you are willing to get one thing a day. It really curbs the I want this and that all day long. The one item a day deal is a good way to limit purchases. We might have to implement this on our next trip.
Def! I really enjoyed it even though we didn't make it inside. And inside is to be even more fun!Your drinks looked really good at Trader Sam's. My brother and sister in law are going on a trip for their anniversary. I was just telling her they should go there. I will show her your review
I really don't know how we made it the whole day! I really don'tYour animal kingdom day was very full. I don't think I could make it all day at AK
All you really missed was the view! And the fries.I guess we didn't miss much. Your view at dinner was gorgeous.
I swam as well and it really is a great sport. Morgan really likes it is having a tough time with the competition part of it.Yay Morgan! I was a swimmer growing up and coached swimming until I had kids.
Annabelle sounds like quiet the independent girl!Next year Ronan and Annabelle want to swim. I keep telling Annabelle she is too young, but she is determined. She can make it a 25 meter without stopping
It really is. My problem is, in order to swim I need to get up at 5:15 to get to the pool swim and still do all the morning things.I still love to swim. It's such a great workout!
Thanks! It def was a good call for them. I know Morgan would have felt weird in a princess dress.I love their sparkly dresses. That was such a good idea and different than any other little girls in the park.
Their excitement is palpable!! It's so wonderful when they are having a magical time
I always wonder what Rapunzel would say if you ask about her hair. I guess the cartoon show helps with that now... But shouldn't she have short brown hair now?
Gwen was on cloud nine after we left the room.
Gwen wanted me to take a picture of her hair as well. So, ENJOY... bathroom pic!
Aww, so cute!It was Jasmine!!! Gwen's favorite!!! Gwen was jumping up and down, clapping her hands and just kept saying "It's Jasimine!" Over and Over again. It was super cute. They had let in a couple families and we were the last of the bunch. So, Jasmine was waiting for the next batch to start and she totally noticed Gwen being beyond excitied to see her. She smiled and waved at Gwen.
I love all the great autograph book ideas I read about here! I will need to keep track for if I ever get to take kids to Disney! We have that autograph book that is the A to Z Encycolpedia. On our first trip, I took it to Staples or somewhere and had them cut the binding off, and spiral bind it. Andy made a few of the characters that we were missing and had them add those in. And then we did it again a few trips later. So, Andy made a page for Elana and she was SUPER excitied to see a page just for her!
I love the portraits inside the Princess Hall.
I love the A to Z autograph book but it is heavy! We have stopped carrying it with us because of that. Plus we don't normally meet too many characters anymore.I love all the great autograph book ideas I read about here! I will need to keep track for if I ever get to take kids to Disney!
We just need to be in Disney at the same time. We will go with you. Of course my girls are getting dangerously "too" old.Sadly I've never been in Princess Hall I know I could go by myself but I want a little girl to go in with! Hopefully when I bring my granddaughter
They actually have two versions of their show. We have only seen one thus far and missed them this last trip. My boys are more into Muppets bc DH loves them and we now watch Muppet Babies on Disney Jr.It was like maybe 2 minutes till the end of it. Andy and I def wanted to try and catch the whole show later in our trip. It is pretty cool to see real puppets! Sadly, we have tried to get the girls into the Muppets and they just don't seem interested.
Totally agree about the perfect balance.I love this ride! It is def one of my favorites! It's the perfect balance of story telling and thrill.
I've never noticed that and my DH likes a little Moonshine so I need to look for it next time.Moonshine anyone?
This was my first time not ducking! I just decided to stay up. Partially bc of the photo and also bc we were all together for the very first time and i decided to just enjoy the moment! We dud get wet but not too terribly bad.Me and Gwen in our full wetness.
Ugh, I forgot to do this! This is seriously Morgan's favorite part of the ride, getting "stuck" next to the waterfall. @cstorm65 - See, both girls are strategically placed closer to the waterfall!!!!!
Andy seriously got the wettest some how..
It looks so yummy!Soon, our milkshakes arrived. This is Morgan's Milkshake. It was REALLY good! It had real strawberry sauce in the bottom.
These look to die-for! My mouth might be watering now....
Good to know. My boys will both eat grilled cheese. The grilled cheese was good. Nothing amazing about it but a solid grilled cheese.
I wonder if my DH would like this. If so, I may have to check this place out in the future!Andy ordered the Mac n Cheese Brisket.
Um, yum! They had just switched up the menu here and started serving loaded tater tots!
Buffalo Chicken Loaded Tater-Tots
Andy and I shared the Buffalo Chicken Tots. These were SOOOOOOOO good! I love pretty much everything buffalo, so I pretty much knew I would like this!
Love the dresses on them!
So beautiful!BBB Morgan & Gwen
Both girls all done!
Isn't it funny how that plays out. AJ would not let Will show him up this year so they both did splash and 7DMT!Gwen went straight for the high dive too! Which gave Morgan the courage to give it a try. And she did it as well.
Amen, sister! And can I just say, end of year events at school is NO JOKE!!!!
This makes me glad I have boys. While waiting I was having flash backs on the time we waited 2 hours to see Anna and Elsa! Yes we were those people! But the girls REALLY wanted to meet them, and they waited the whole time with us.
Su-Lynn Is the best at this! I am trying to learn!I guess Cinderella taught the girls how to hold there dressses out ala @ChunkyMonkey!
She is definitely on the bottom of my princess list.I find Cinderella sometimes can be kind of meh...
