The Sugies Do Disney: Part 2! - A Nov '16 TR *Completed*New TR link 11/20

Your Belle shirt is so cute! I'm glad you had good princess interaction...I worry about face characters sometimes. I don't know why, I've only really had one awkward interaction with a face character, but it makes me wary now.

Those cheesy potatoes are making me sad about missing Akershus now!

I thought Joy and Sadness were awesome, too, and I'm glad your friends were able to meet up with you!

I love Sadness!! My mom calls me Eeyore a lot, so I guess it was only natural to love her. The hand holding is so cute! I have a similar sad-faced selfie with her, too. :) That's lame that the FEA ride was down when you spent time in line waiting for it when you could have rope dropped something else! But I guess these things happen sometimes, so good you were able to take it in stride and go on with your day.

I agree, Joy and Sadness are an awesome meet and greet. We were the first in line in February and it was so cute how Sadness took my daughter's hand and walked around with her and Joy came bouncing in. Best laid plans in Disney often change so glad you got some nice meets in.

We ended up spending a lot of time with them and it was wasn't rushed at all. It makes me happy when a character meet ends up being worth the wait. I don't mind waiting a little extra if the experience is going to be special!
We did the Joy and Sadness meet on our last trip. We loved it too.

Cute meets!!! Too bad FEA wasn't running but Joy & Sadness is a great consolation prize. Their meet area is so cute. And who doesn't love a little Baymax in their lives?!

FEA being down was a bummer, but I knew there was a chance of that happening. The meets were definitely great consolations! :)

Thanks! It can get awkward with face characters sometimes, but I'm glad there was none of that on this morning!

Ugh they were so good, I want them right now! They also have similar ones at Crystal Palace!

Joy & Sadness are the best!

We have similar taste in characters, I love Eeyore too!

I was prepared for FEA malfunctions since it always seems to happen! Like you said, the real bummer was wasting time there when we could have gone somewhere else. But it was fine and it all worked out anyway!

I love how much time those two spend interacting with guests, makes it so worth it!

What a great meet and greet! Your pictures came out so cute!!! :goodvibes:goodvibes

Thank you!! We had lots of fun!

We did the Joy and Sadness meet on our last trip. We loved it too.

I just caught up on your report and read about your meet with them :) I'm glad we both had good experiences!!

November 8th- MORE character meets!

After meeting Baymax, we spent a little time in Mouse Gears doing some shopping before heading to use our FP at Character Spot.

After that, we headed back to Norway and met Anna & Elsa. I really liked the new M&G area, though I do wish these 2 met together!

At this point it was already 1pm and we hadn't even been on any rides!

Up next...Will we be able to get on Frozen Ever After?

More awesome pictures! This is one of the things I'm really bad at. I'm often flying solo on my trips, so I rarely make a point to do greets. I need to get better about this! Your pictures are SO cute!!!!! :goodvibes

Thank you! I am sure it is tough to be motivated to meet characters when you're alone, but you should totally do it! It's always a fun time :)

I rode Frozen in January for the first time and I purposely stayed away from any info about the ride so it was a total surprise, I really loved it! The "Let it Go" part was particularly amazing! Yum, your snacks look amazing! Definitely one of my favorite things about Epcot festivals! :thumbsup2

I know FEA seems to get a bad rap because it replaced Maelstrom and because of the crazy hype over it, but I really enjoyed it, too! I definitely wouldn't wait in a super long line for it, but we had fun and thought it was definitely worth doing once with FP :)

Can you believe your pictures of the inside of Royal Sommerhaus are the first I've EVER seen?? I love the carvings of the girls and the tapestry and artwork, WOW. They did such a good job on the interior there. I wish they met together, too. I have it in my plans to meet them in May, we'll see if I follow through or not!

All of your food looks good!! The sliders especially. If I die and go to heaven, I hope it's filled with food kiosks, LOL!!

I know I mentioned this before, but it's worth saying again...your shirts are so cute!!

I'm all caught up!
I bet Epcot was really nice on your way to breakfast. Quiet and empty and calm...

Sorry FEA wasn't running at park opening, but I'm glad to see it was working by the time your FP came due.
Lots of character meets for you guys that day. And lots of cool ones, too!

We must have similar food tastes, because all the dishes you picked at the booths were the items I thought looked the best when I glanced at the online menus. Glad to hear it was all pretty good.

All the character interaction here was really great. The hot food was pretty standard (eggs, bacon, sausage), but very tasty. And the CHEESY POTATOES! Oh my gosh we were drooling over them. That was the one item we asked for seconds of!
Those things are the bomb! I'm glad you had good characters with your breakfast.

Finally around 9:15, a CM came around to say the ride was down and they didn't know when it would be up. UGH! Third morning in a row that things do not go as planned! We did not want to wait around not knowing when the ride would open, so we ditched that plan and headed towards Future World.
That stinks.

We ended up spending a lot of time with them and it was wasn't rushed at all. It makes me happy when a character meet ends up being worth the wait. I don't mind waiting a little extra if the experience is going to be special!

After that we hopped over to see Baymax!
So you went from bouncy happy Joy and hand holding sadness to Baymax. Who just stands there. And the CM's don't really want you to touch. He's definitely a cool character, just wish you could interact with him more.

After that, we headed back to Norway and met Anna & Elsa. I really liked the new M&G area, though I do wish these 2 met together!
::yes:: You'd think that would be quicker, but I'm sure Disney has researched that and found that splitting them up moves more people through.

Probably not worth the long waits, but I say the same about Peter Pan and that is in my top 5 WDW rides!
I can agree with that. Love Peter Pan, but I would never wait an hour for it.

It really is a nice ride!

Thanks, I enjoyed everything a lot! F&W is definitely one of my favorite times to go!

Totally agree! It's a fun ride if you can get on it with FP or a short wait!

Really?? Well I'm glad I could be the one to show you then! :goodvibes It's SO pretty inside, I hope you get to see it for yourself in May!

LOL! I'm there with you! So many choices!

Thank you! I got the design from etsy, let me know if you ever want the link!

It was amazing, I would love to do a PPO breakfast again just for that reason!

It was a bummer not to ride it at park opening, but I'm glad we had the FP! I feel bad for those who DIDN'T have a FP and that was there only shot to get on it with a short wait.

Well I am glad you could live vicariously through me! More F&W to come!

Glad you were able to ride FEA later in the day. I can't wait to ride it when I go this summer! :)

Thanks! I think you will love it!

SO good..constantly craving those potatoes!

I love Baymax but I agree his meet can be a little...dull. And the CMs are usually pretty cranky there!

I guess I can see why meeting them both together would slow things down, but hey if they can do it at Disneyland why can't they do it here?!

November 8th- The Festival Center & Saying Goodbye to Epcot!

We then headed to the Festival Center!

One of my favorites parts about F&W is checking out the chocolate sculptures!

We used our final FP on Spaceship Earth, super bummed that the cameras weren't displaying your pictures at the end! We then did an outfit change as we would be leaving Epcot to head to MK for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! We took a few more PP pictures before heading out of the park!

Up next...We head to MK!

So much chocolate! And I just want to eat it all! I don't care how good it looks or how much effort went into it!

That stinks! It seems I've been hearing about this happening a lot lately!
