How do I even go about adding a custom avatar? Before I just chose one from the ones that they offered.
Also, I posted on another thread that I was finally able to get my avatar to show by uploading it in the "personal details" section rather than "avatar". Right click user name, personal details is the first link on the left-hand side. I hope that works for others as well.
This worked! Thank you!
You need to save the photo to your computer and upload from there. Just Google whatever image it is that you're looking for.

I copied a picture to my picture files that I found when I did a Google search of disney avatars. Then on the DIS I went to my personal profile page and from the drop down menu clicked avatar. I then clicked on the choice for adding image from file and I then had to choose from my personal photo files. Then you may or may not be left with the same problem the rest of us have, which is getting the image to display with posts. Hope this helps. How do I even go about adding a custom avatar? Hover over your user name in the upper right-hand corner of the page, and select "Personal Details". Right under where you change your Avatar is "Custom Title". You can edit your custom title right there. Be sure & Save Changes at the bottom of the page.I finally got my avatar changed but can't figure out how to change "DIS Veteran" which isn't a big deal but I like how people have custom ones.
I was wondering the same thing! Can't get a custom avatar or signature at this point but having a hard time navigating the rules as to when I gain more access. Will try to post to some more topics and see if that fixes the issue! One more to go - if I'm missing anything else, please let me know. I'm looking forward to figuring out the boards.
