1 crazy family+2 resorts+5 parks+1 snake+1 surprise=A Mickeystoontown report 4/3x2

So sad your trip is drawing to a close. But on the bright side...a new one is just around the corner!! I've ran into cases of rudeness before...it seems like this past trip it was at an all time high! Glad they moved along for ya'll!

It took me almost a year but I'm finally winding this things down. I gotta get started on my pre-trip report.

You all are too cute gettin your groove on at the party.

It looks like your making the most out of your last night. Sorry the McNasty family stood in front of you but at least they moved. I hope the rest of your night was smooth sailing.

Love getting my groove on!

I'm always one to pull every single last second that I can out of the last day. I just hate to leave my favorite place.

It's sad when reality slaps us back in the face at the parks. We get so use to everyone being nice & then comes along the real world. Glad they moved so you could see.

Isn't it though!?! I was happy that they decided to try and get a better view but I felt sorry for the next set of folks that they stood in front of.

Love the dance party! We're going to have to find that this year. My girls would love it.

I can't believe the rudeness of those people. I would have totally said something, but I have little girls and if they can't see, someone is going to get it.

Love the castle pics. That show looks awesome!

We've seen it a few times and it's always been on the stage near the bathrooms in Tomorrowland. Look for it next trip!

I have said something to rude people before when the kids were younger and shorter. People just don't have any manners any more.

"If I didn't have another trip coming up, I'd be sad as heck! Thank goodness I am in perpetual Disney trip planning mode. I know that a lot of my Dis friends are going to be in the World at the same time. When I start my pre-trip report, let's compare dates and see when we can all say "HEY!"

I can't wait to read your pre-trip. I am gonna be down there around the time too. I am hoping I will finally get to go to a DIS meet or mini one.

I'm hoping to get the pre-trip report started this afternoon or tomorrow! I'm anxious to share my plans.

Another great update, Lisa. Sad you're trip is coming to a close but glad you have another on the horizon!

Hate when people stop right in front of you when they KNOW you have been standing there to save a spot for a show!

Oh yeah, countin' down the days until we are back in Disney!

The rude people absolutely knew that they were standing in our view and they didn't care at all.

Girl, I can't believe you have stretched out this trip report almost until time for this year's trip! You must be planning a SHORT pre-trippie! Come on now, start telling us about the latest version of your plans, so we can keep up while you do all your last minute changes. LOL
That was a great final evening with a little dancing along the way. How fun to have partners to do it with you! Glad those annoying people moved on. I have a REALLY hard time keeping my mouth shut in those cases, and I often don't.
I guess y'all have been really busy preparing that big garden you always plant. So glad spring has finally arrived!

You know me well my friend! I was making changes to our 2014 trip as late as yesterday afternoon. :lmao: Going to get the pre-trip report started either this afternoon or tomorrow.

We were just talking about the garden this weekend. We only been able to till it twice and now it's too wet to do it again. We have to hurry up and get it ready to plant since Good Friday is just around the corner.

Loving the dancing shots, it's great that your kids get involved mine would have been shaking their head with embarrassment :rotfl2:

My kids certainly don't embarrass easily and it's a good thing given my dancing skills (or lack thereof). :rotfl:

Awww I love the castle show it is one of my favorite parts of our trip , just so magical pixiedust: Oh and as for the people who moved in front of you I would of just hopped right up in front of them !

I love the castle show too and can hardly wait to see it again!

awesome trip report as usual Lisa..not so bad you have another trip coming up..I will def keep a look out for you at CBR and if I see you and your lovely family I will say hi :)

Shoot yeah! If you see me, say HEY!:yay:

Hi Lisa! I can't believe your trip report is coming to an end!! But before ya know it you will be on your next trip & back home telling us all about it!!! :cool1:

Yes m'am! Trip number 20 is just around the corner!

OOOHHHH rude people, even worse rude tall people! I always try to stand where nobody can get between me and my view...like right next to the railing on a bridge. ::yes::
DGD went to a birthday party this weekend and they had Mickey and Minnie there. Her mama said she went right up and shook Mickey's hand, gave him a high five and took pictures with them. This makes me not so worried for our trip in October and character meets. :goodvibes

Yay for being a big girl and giving Mickie and Minnie a high five! Like you said, makes you less nervous about meets on your next trip. :thumbsup2

Loved the update! We have never done Monster Inc Laugh Floor need to add that to our must do for our upcoming trip!

Love the Dance Party.

Im glad the inconsiderate people moved out of your way. It seems like that bridge is the worst from inconsiderate people.

Definitely add Laugh Floor to your list of things to do. It's cute and each show is a little different.

Inconsiderate people always make me so mad and it's all that I can do to keep my mouth shut.

Oh, good, I wasn't too far behind!!! Phew!

Those castle pictures right at the beginning of your update are GORGEOUS! I love the blue of the castle against the blue of the sky.

The picture you took in the Monster's Inc. Queue into the mirror is cool too. At first I was wondering how you got so far away from your family, then I saw you in the picture.

I love that you all were boogieing down at the dance party.:banana::banana:

Stitch? Really? Stitch???

That castle projection show is SO amazing!!!

:goodvibes

:furious: on the people who stood in front of you! Rude people are so annoying!!! I'm glad they moved on, but like you said, some other people surely had to deal with them. We were in the Muppets preshow when a husband (very tall), his wife and their two small children came in. They commented "I hope our kids can see" while stepping and stopping directly in front of mine. I think they were more oblivious than outright rude, but way to be concerned about your kids and not anyone else

When(if) I ever get around to updating my trip report, I'll include a story about a VERY rude mom at the middle school drama club show last weekend and how I dealt with it.

Good thing I move slow huh? ;)

Thank you!

You know what? I had to look closely at the picture too.

I love that you all were boogieing down at the dance party.:banana::banana:

Why not doing a little dancing? They didn't know me.

Stitch? Really? Stitch???

Yeah, Stitch. I'm one who likes to try and see it all.

Oh goodness! I'm almost afraid to read what happened.

All my Wishes will come truuuuuuuuuue! I need voice lessons!

Once the castle show was over, quite a few people started streaming out of Tomorrowland towards Main Street. I don’t know where they thought they were going because, from where I was standing, it looked like they were going to encounter a wall of people. But, somehow, they busted through and the area cleared out a little bit. Not a whole lot but it was better crowd wise. Even though we may have been able to find a better Wishes viewing spot had we swam downstream with the masses, we decided to stay put. The view was decent so why not?

Not long thereafter, this happened:

Wishes had begun and I sang along despite the fact that I have the singing voice of a sea lion barking for a handout. Let’s just say that “All my Wishes will come truuuuuuue! does not, in any way, shape, form or fashion, sound as lovely as the soundtrack played during the fireworks. I need voice lessons! :lmao: So, I’ll shut my trap and post pictures that both Hunter and I took (he had one camera and I had another). Get ready ‘cause I am going to post a lot because I’m missing the Magic Kingdom right now.

**Continued in next post because I told ya that I was posting a lot of pictures

And one final hoorah!

Ahhh, I love Wishes! I love Cinderella’s Castle! I love the Magic Kingdom! I love it all! All except the crowds that were pushing past us. Good granny, where’d they all come from? I’m talking thousands upon thousands of people coming from Tomorrowland towards Main Street. We didn’t move anywhere and stood around acting silly:

Hunter’s going the scene in Paul Blart Mall Cop where he says “twist it, feel the nub”:

I don’t know how long we stood there looking like nutjobs but eventually we walked towards Adventureland where I’m not sure what we did. Probably tried one last ride on Pirates of the Caribbean. First, we stopped and I took a picture of Hunter with Dumbo:

Like I said, I’m thinking we rode Pirates one more time and then moseyed on out of the Magic Kingdom via the walkway in front of the Crystal Palace:

There was no way that I was leaving the Magic Kingdom without taking a castle picture first. No way, no how!

It was time....time to say goodbye to the Magic Kingdom for the last time. I hate goodbyes!

**Up next: Magic Kingdom Photopass pictures

You can NEVER have enough pictures from Wishes! You could have gone on four more pages and I would have been as happy as a clam to look at each and every one of them!

I hate those crowds when Wishes is over and having to deal with them.

I love the pic of Hunter with Mark's Dumbo.

Great last castle picture.

Glad that you agree with me. Never ever too many pictures of Wishes! Love it!

I almost posted that Hunter was posing with Mark's Dumbo. Seriously! I almost did!

Magic Kingdom Photopass pictures:

One year, Hunter was being a goof (I know...can you believe it?) and when the photographer told him to pose with us, he turned his back to the photographer and we've been taking at least one picture like this every trip. Dumb, I know, but that's us.

**I'll go ahead and post these next pictures because I don't have any dialogue to go with them. Well, other than the fact that Lacey and Jesse stayed a little longer than we did and spent what I think I am remembering correctly to be a half day at the Magic Kingdom before they started home too.

**Up next: Now it's time to say goodbye to all our family...I don't wanna go home!

Terrific Photopass Pictures, Lisa. The ones of the kids on Buzz had me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: They are priceless!

Hunter standing backwards!!!! :lmao::lmao::lmao: I can't wait to meet him in May.

Wonderful Wishes pictures, ALL of them! I am missing the magic kingdom something wicked right now too, so thanks for sharing those :) I also need voice lessons! (Though somehow I doubt it would help! :rotfl: ) Love the fooling around photos too, so much fun!
And a bunch of wonderful Photopass pics too, too funny about Hunters backwards pic!

Sent from my iPad using DISBoards

Hey Lisa,

I used your links & got caught up. but it means I missed all the fun in between stuff. sorry :(

You seriously did a lot on your last day. No wonder Mamaw had to call it a day early!

I loved your excursion to the Wilderness Lodge & Ft. Wilderness. They are probably my most favorite themes - just outdoorsy, great northwest. We stayed at WLR twice and I just loved stealing a bit of time every morning to enjoy coffee In front of that big stacked stone fireplace in a rocker. sigh. wish I was there right now!!!

Where about in MK did you have the silhouettes done? they are so very pretty and I am not sure I have ever seen them before.

guess I need to get my own TR in order....feeling like quite a slacker now!

Okay, since you started your Wishes update with a song I couldn't resist turning on the soundtrack for Wishes while I looked at your pictures. pixiedust: Wishes is our family's ABSOLUTE FAVORITE of all Disney experiences...EVER. It holds a very special place in our hearts. :cloud9: Thanks for taking me back to that happy place. :goodvibes Like you, I MISS DISNEY!!!!!

Love your wishes pics and photopass pics. My favorite is Lacey and Hunter on Buzz. So funny! And sheesh, Hunter is tall, isn't he? I really noticed it when he was standing next to you and John.

So sad your trip is over. :(

We are going to say good bye just in time to say hello again to the MK!!!!

Great "silly" photos while waiting for the crowds to go away and that Buzz pic of Hunter and Lacey had me spitting coke! :rotfl2:

Have you gotten all of your FP+ reservations yet? Whew, I just need Seven Dwarves Mine Train and Wishes, then we're all set. It's coming up soon and I can't wait!

Hunter’s going the scene in Paul Blart Mall Cop where he says “twist it, feel the nub”:

This is so hilarious...this is one of Keith's favorite lines. Mine is "Still got the baggies!" and Keith also loves saying "Stop being coy"! Love that movie! :rotfl:

Love the Wishes pics! I'm with you...love the castle, the Wishes, love Main Street and even love the Tangled restrooms...if it's Magic Kingdom....love it! Great PhotoPass pics too!!

Caught up again! I've been following along, just haven't had a chance to post lately. Loving all of your pictures!! Sad to see the trip ending, but very glad to know another will follow soon.

So sad to see this TR ending as well. All of my faves are winding down and I have finished my own. Going to go through Disney withdrawal now.

Loved the photopass pix! The kids on Buzz were cracking me up!!! And your family photo to the side of the castle was really nice.

Ahhhh, the last "Wish"! So beautiful.

Just awesome pictures of the fireworks ! Awesome photopass pictures ! You did a great job on your trip report :thumbsup2
