I will be staying at the Contemporary and need to drive to the Grand Floridian for a late night reservation. The map looks like I have to do a U turn somewhere. How do I get there and back?

Turn left go south on world drive then, turn right onto seven seas drive then, turn right onto Floridian drive and then right into the grand. When your ready to return just go back the way you came, no u turn.

I 'believe' getting there is much simpler than getting back to the CR...just head out of the CR and go to the Polynesian. It's a right at the lights. Keep going until you get to the road to the GF..should be to the right. It's the getting back that is not as simple....I mean, it's not hard, but it's a bit convoluted. Perhaps someone that has driven it can give more exact instructions.

Ok I am looking for the fastest way to get to Animal Kingdom in the morning from the Boardwalk Villas? It seems everytime I try to take the bus from the Boardwalk it takes FOREVER to get transportation.... Help!!

There is no 'fastest' way to AK from the Epcot resorts. They all share the same bus to AK..so you'll be making stops at S/D/YC/BC and then on to AK.
I have been on some early buses that didn't stop at the YC/BC though. You may get lucky.

Hello to all of you very helpful DIS'ers. I've got several questions that I'll just number for ease of reference. I will have an ECV for the length of stay, and I'd prefer not to take a taxi unless there's no other option.

1. If I watch the fireworks from the Poly beach, how do I get back to POFQ?
2. When do I need to be at the bus stop at POFQ for a Boma breakfast at 9:15am?
3. When do I need to be at the bus stop at POFQ for a 1900 Park Faire breakfast at 8:15? And should I get on the MK bus, then the monorail? Or how do I get there?
4. For an 8:05am Crystal Palace reservation, when should I be on the bus to MK?
5. I'm going in early December and want to check out the decorations at the various resorts. I figure to use the monorail for those, but any suggestions on how to hit the other resorts? I'm planning on catching a few each day so I'm not travelling all day. Thoughts?

I was going to ask question 1 also, only to POR.
Do the buses from MK to the resorts get super crowded leaving MK after the fireworks though? Or will many people from inside the park have already left by the time we get back over to MK? Is there any way to avoid these crowds? Besides waiting it out for another hour or so, that is. : )

Yes, the buses are crowded after the fireworks. If that's when the park closes, everyone will be leaving at the same time! There is only one way around it...wait it out. If you are over at the Polynesian, watching the fireworks, it will take you a bit of time to get back to the MK to begin with. Take your time...no need to rush. Thanks. Maybe we'll take the boat then and enjoy the ride. Nothing worse than "hurry up and wait". Hopefully it won't be too bad and we can get the kids back to the resort painlessly. We have a breakfast ADR the next morning.

You'll take the bus to DHS and then walk to Fantasia Gardens. The, to get to DTD, you'll walk to the Swan and then take the bus to DTD.

The evening I was thinking about watching the fireworks from the Poly is the same night as when MK has the extra evening hours. Should I just linger at the Poly to avoid the traffic knowing that busses will be running for quite a while, or should I try for a different night?
