There's nothing new to report as of Sunday, August 21. Section C08 is still up to brick no. 575, and no work has started yet on C19. I do hope they continue the work soon!

Yep, I saw the same thing. My next visit will be Sept. 3rd so hopefully they will all be in by then.

I am hoping someone has some answers for me. I bought a brick back in 2004, it was a wedding present to my husband as he proposed at Disneyland. We've seen our brick many times, it was out in front of the O in the old California sign at Cal Adventure.

The last time we saw it, it was looking pretty awful. Something dark had stained it and you could barely read the lettering. Also I'm wondering if they replaced any bricks that were damaged when they removed the big letters and did all the front gate remodeling?

I just want my brick to still be there and be ok!

The bricks are guaranteed for 10 years so yours should remain until at least 2014 (in good condition). If it has been damaged, I believe that you can report it to guest services and they will repair or replace it (or at least guest services can give you the correct contact information). I'm not sure if they monitor all of them and replace them as needed...or if it is based on guests reporting a problem with their brick (so I would definitely report it).

A friend of mine had a piece broken off the corner of hers and they told her that it would be repaired during the latest batch of installations.

I just left on Monday (morning of 22nd) and was there a full week before. I saw no ground being broken and nothing installed ???

I would hate to think it was somethere that I didn't notice and my brick was there the entire time!!!

WAHHHH....what about C08 in the 600's (I am not home right now and can't remember the exact number). Hopefully they did them in the order purchased, which means C08 should be in already, right. Pretty please tell me that is right. We're going mid September and our APs will expire so it may be a while before we return (time to do WDW for a year now).....but I KNOW I'll never be able to keep the secret for another year, it's been hard enough to do it since Feb. That little box is sitting high up on the shelf, but I know what's in it....and I peek every once in a while, lol.

If some kind soul could look for C08 past 600 I would be very grateful.

I was one of the very last orders on the last night. I received my replica a short while back. (If you read up a bit on this thread, you can find when.) I did not make any revisions to my original order.

Maybe place a call?

Can't decide whether to tell them about it by leaving the replica out at the hotel for them to find when they awake, or whether to just "casually" stand at our brick and get them to look around until they find it. The screaming that may ensue when it's found could cause momentary panic for security, lol. My girls got lungs!

Our plan to show the kids this weekend is to pretend to be looking for something in my bag and then drop an item next to the brick (like a hair band, etc). Then ask the kids if they can grab that for me, LOL.

I am so grateful to the person that got pictures for me because they also sent me a picture from a distance so I can easily see the location. That way I can walk right up to it and won't give away the surprise by trying to find the brick

If anyone wants me to check for their brick this Saturday, just let me know the location and I'll do my best to grab some pictures for you.
