We were lucky to get home on schedule, and very lucky that Paul's surgery went the best way possible and he is recovering nicely! A great deal of the credit for my strength during the trip goes to Walter and Pete and the Dreams/Podcast crew. I have lost a tremendous amount of sleep for the past few weeks...hopefully I will make it through Friday's work and get a little sleep on Saturday.

Lisa, I agree everything that's been said here and meant to tell you in person. I couldn't imagine what it must have been like going through this. I had some minor health issues before and during ABD and would never have been able to get through them without a good friend who lives nearby. I can only imagine what you felt in this situation which was far more serious. Here's to positive healing from here on!

Thank you Nikki! I'm glad you were able to get some help from a good friend, and I hope you're feeling better. Paul is still healing and feeling better, and I'm struggling to catch up with work and around the house and all the usual and unusual vacation stuff. Hopefully we will all feel much better soon!

Looks like there's something in your signature that's causing it to be read as text rather than code. That underscore before Kermit needs to be right up against the first part of the URL. Agreed that there's probably a line break or carriage return in the middle. If it's still not working, send me an email with the complete code for your signature, and I'll take a look.

Hi everyone! Lots going on since chat and we haven't been able to really check the boards since Friday night. I just wanted to say what a great time we had catching up with you all! That was only the second time we ever did chat, and we really enjoyed it.

Hey Friends!!!

How is everyone's week going? I've been feeling a bit blah this week. I'm trying to get myself back into "teacher mode," but it's not going so well. Next week we get to go into our classrooms to beginning setting up for the new year. I'm excited, but having trouble getting back into a schedule. Hopefully that'll happen soon.

There is a chat tonight, podcast chat, if anyone is interested. It is much, much faster than our ABD chats. One of the strategies that I always suggest is to only read the text of people you know or of a certain color (for example, pick purple and only read the text of people who type in that color). Anyone planning on stopping by?
