I knew you knew how many people visit the site. I had no idea you knew who many were lurkers!

I was a podcast only listener for almost a year before I even knew about the Disboards.

I was a lurker for a few months while researching a trip in December 2009. I thought when I came back from that trip, I was done with Disney. Waiting at the airport in Philadelphia, I realized that I had not "drunk the kool-aid" and was not totally hooked on Disney.
But I kept listening to Disney podcasts (not just this one) and now I really want to go back. Part of my wanting to go back is the connections I have made here on the podcast boards.

Alas, it is a term ingrained the Internet culture, dating back to at least the late 80s and through the 90s in the heyday of UseNet (a.k.a. newsgroups) and other BBS systems. Although even then it often had a negative connotation, as a person would "de-lurk" usually to incite a flame war or something, which never, ever happens here. Sorta. Kinda.

Okay - okay as you can see I don't post much but I visit the boards every day and have been a fan of the site for more that 10 years, had the pleasure of meeting Pete at Epcot on a trip with my family during Flower and Garden and he sent a wonderful gift to me of gardening things that I use every season....that's gotta give me some points right? Anyway - there is just so much to read who's got time to post!
