Oh, and you should have seen where this meet was at. Their pool was nothing exciting, but these are multi bazillion dollar homes - BEACHFRONT, probably 7-10K square feet. Seriously. The area is Ponte Vedra and it was Sawgrass Country Club. Crazy cash in there!!! But they were all so nice and the meet was great!

Jeff called me laughing saying there was a police car behind him and he thought it was because they radioed in "Ford moving toward Sawgrass - all units pursue!"

We can't really get anything special for a large group as we are staying offsite we don't qualify .. i have looked at all the boat rides etc and none that we will do. My main worry is dining because unlike most large groups (i would think) we will be doing all that as an 18 .. So all character meals etc will be all of us and Chloe's b'day dinner will be 21 as my friend who i met on here and stayed with in Ok in march is gonna be there at the same time so they are joining us
So my main headache is making sure we get to do this together, we will all want to sit together and i have to say God help anyone who tries to stop us there are many women in my family

Wow! 21 people! I would definately make ADRs, which you can do at the 90 day mark. Otherwise, they'll let you sit together IF you can wait for 3 hours for a table!

Debbie - your pix are great and the kids did get so big! You're daughter is the spitting image of you! But I'm LMAO at the pix with the characters from UP. Who the heck would want I picture with the old man? Anyway, we're finally gettin out to see that movie on Thurs. Amanda has seen it alread; not Lauren and I though.

Kara - Is Ally tearing up the waters or what? It seems every pic I see, she's holding a ribbon. Great job! She looks like she's having a blast.

Ok - back to catching up. Lauren has her last day of 7th grade tomorrow. I'm devasted by how old she's getting. I truly, truly hate it!

Hi girls things are still crazy I have been picking up over time and have been exhausted. I try to follow along, but I can't even plan my trip I am so busy. I miss being a SAHM, but I LOVE working .

Well anyway things are a bit hectic. After seeing the OB/GYN again they found a polyp, but no cancer so that's good. I have to go for some more testing because they are afraid there could be more and they will have to biopsy each one to make sure I am all clear. I am starting to work out, tonight was my last night of eating bad I am back to weight watchers tomorrow. I have 20lbs to loose before our Disney trip this Sept. or I am not going.

I am going to try and catch up tomorrow

That's good news!! Also -good luck - go for it on the WW - I am 15 pounds down and counting.... I soooooo wish I only had 20 pounds to lose!!


Oh, and as to the fuel costs...... Ours is now sooo ridiculous..... we are paying over 1 UK pound per litre that is around $1.65 per litre - yours can't be as bad as that!! So it costs us around £70 ($120ish) per 2 weeks in fuel and we don't use the car every day.

Hhahah oh do not worry i am defintely making ADRs for all our meals, and i have the days marked down when i can start phoning and the best thing is that T-Rex where we are having Chloe's b'day dinner for 21 takes ressies 6 months in advance i read so that will be a huge weight off my mind.
My only headache really is the Fantasmic dining package, to do or not to do but i think i will put that headache to one side and wait to see hours and showtimes and hopefully they will be out before my 90 day mark and then i have to think again

I am so glad Tessa answered your gas question Debbie .. i know you guys use gallons and i have no idea how to convert litres into gallons hahahhaha all i know is yours has always been cheaper than ours everytime i have ever been to the States, and ours at the moment is extortionate, filling up my car now costs me £15 more than it used to so i do not do that very often as that makes it nearly £60 to fill

We are having some glorious weather here at the moment, shame Cj is still in school 3 weeks and 2 days to go!
I am so very excited my Dad has booked us another trip to Dlp this time also with my bro his fiancee and her DD3 .. Cj doesn't know but am sure i won't be able to keep this one quiet like the last one as there is a 3 yr old involved hahahhahaaa

Oh, oopsy, thanks Erin I forgot you all do gallons over there.... a gallon is about 4.5 litres, so we pay the equivalent of about £4.50 per gallon, so wait for it...... $7.50ish PER GALLON!! most of it tax!!

Morning or actually afternoon! Hope everyone is doing great on this Wednesday! I think I actually see some sunlight trying to fight through the clouds, but unfortunately it will be another rainy day - supposedly the last.

Working from home today since the girls are out of school - - they actually slept until 9am this morning. They needed it!

Lydia - I will pray for you for your ADRs! I wanted Ohana and LeCellier and didn't get either of them. I've called everyday since begging the CM to find something for Ohana dinner. It's just not a Disney vacation without a dose of Ohana and a view of the castle! This time we're going to Mama Melrose, which we haven't been to in about six years.

Kara - here's a laugh after seeing your 'pool' pictures, we STILL haven't been able to put our pool up because of rain. Tomorrow we're hoping to put it up but we've lost all hopes for going swimming on Sunday for DD's 10th birthday.

10th - I'll be ok. DH wants to let her have a bunch of friends sleep over in our trailer Saturday night, but then he changed his mind when I told him we'd have to order pizza ($$ - still trying to save for our Disney trip) and watch a Tween movie. He quickly agreed to letting her have one friend over - I wonder who she'll invite. Back to work!!

I don't know who asked about the Wishes party, but here is a link - although it is over in August, so I don't know if you're going then or not. I would do it - you get Spectro too. But it could be expensive for a whole family, so I'm not sure what we'd do.

Oh, definately. I forgot that DVC isn't hooked into that yet. I would call member services at 7am. Less people trying to get in, and they'll link your ressies to your dining for you!

Good morning girls!

The girls are done with school. Lauren is officially an 8th grader.

Still cloudy here today but there is the promise of the sun appearing later. I hope so. We have an end-of-school year pool party to go to today. Was supposed to be yesterday but it never stopped raining. It's not raining now but there is no sun; and it's only 70 degrees. Telling ya right now - there's no way Amanda will be happy in a pool in the temps are not in the 80s or above. So I guess it looks like she and I will be hanging on the patio for the afternoon.

Then we're going to dinner and to see the movie UP tonite. Full day. I'm glad school is over though. Like not having to be on such a set schedule.

Lydia - hope you had success with your ADRs. So DVC members can't use the online system? I wonder if that puts us at a disadvantage? It's still a 3 month window, right? I feel so out of the loop with the new Disney news. BTW - sorry to hear what happened with your son. How scary! Is he doing ok now?

Tammie - I can't believe you're still recovering from your dental work. YUCK! After my last appt., I don't want to go back. It wasn't painful; just not pleasant. I hate it so much but I still need to get the crown for my root canal tooth. It's going to be a TWO HOUR appt. Is Jim home now? I hope things are going well with you and the kids too!

Debbie - love your pix! Are you in the post-WDW funk now? I'm now getting real anxious to get back. Our trip is a little over 5 months away still but I need to start looking at some plans. I already have my one nurse (the one who came last year) coming out from Wed.nite until departure day on Sunday the week we're there. Now, I've discovered one of my other nurses is becoming a HUGE Disney freak and I'm thinking of asking her to come the first part of the week. I feel bad because it means the girls and I would not be alone at all - which I hate. But the reality is - I just can't handle and lift Amanda onto rides by myself like I used to. So if we're alone, it will really limit what we can do; which won't be fun for any of us. I just feel like having a nurse around is such an intrusion on our family-time. I'm still trying to figure it all out.

Ok, I've rambled enough.
