Just formatted your camera's memory card and forgot to download the pics first? Think your TOAL is ruined, think again......

I'll be bringing some S/W that will *attempt* to recover the images - I can't guarentee it, but it has worked sucessfully in the past.

I'll have a card reader that can take almost any format card, so if you think that your memory card is destined for Davey Jones' locker, drop by and I'll see what we can salvage.

I believe Shutters can do this too.

How fun!

OK who else wants that bathroom??? I don't Disney decorate my house, aside from a collection of photos on a book shelf - one from each year & 2 prints in the upstairs hallway, but I have always wanted to have a Mickey bathroom.

No such luck yet. The joys of moving - I have to decorate around the colors of the fixtures that are there when we move in. I this house, the boys have the world's ugliest bathroom. Fixtures are assorted shades of 1960's green - seafoam, lime, avacado. Yes, all in the same room. The only thing to do was embrace the ugly! We added a lava lamp, black shag bathmat, disco ball & space theme accessories!

There is another picture I didn't post (thought I would overwhelm everyone) twel racks were all mickey hands..it was really cute..in that bathroom..when you turned out the lights..the tiles glowed with Mickey heads...really fun.

I would have loved to stay there for a few days..you could see both parks and DTD perfectly. We people watched forever as we were right over DTD...No one wanted to leave (even the guests we invited just for the evening!)

We made a rule...no visiting the parks! We only left to go swim for a short time and to run over to the bath shop..we picked up some bath salts for the tub. Other then that..nope..stayed the entire time.

You made me stop and think about how many work days I have left. 19 actual work days with 3 that you would call Monday's (for me they are 1-Mon, 1-Wed, 1-Fri). I can handle this.

I beat you Roger only 18 more work days with my 4-10's

Ok..here are some pictures from the Mickey Mouse Penthouse at the DL hotel.
The Mickey Tori is "talking" to in the mirror is a Magic Mickey..he interacts with you and tells you jokes and trivia. There is one that is difficult to make out but the master bathroom had a TV in the mirror. The mickey head shape (lloks like a cut out) is the ceiling in the living room. The desk where I wrote Hi is a back lit desk..you could do stamping and writing on it.The next post has the rest of the pictures. You can click on the pictures for a larger view.

I've had a closet door doorknob break off from a child climbing! Dh was *amazed* that as soon as I saw the broken doorknob I asked dd *Why were you standing on the doorknob?*
Good grief! As if there was some other explanation for a doorknob braking off!

Hey Guys! You guys were busy with the posts over the weekend. I came back from the swim meet and you guys had posted over 40 pages!

The meet went well. Another mom and her son joined us for the ride over and her husband was able to come later that night and pick up my DH from work on the way, so he was at least able to watch the kids swim on Saturday and Sunday. DD swam 8 events and DS swam 7. The last two events for DD were the 200 m fly and 800 m freestyle. She swam the 800 m freestyle in a little under 14 minutes. Not too bad for the first time. She isn't really fast, but she loves the distance swims. DS took over 30 seconds off his time in the 100 Freestyle. On Saturday after the meet we were able to go back and enjoy the water park at the pool for about 3 hours. The kids both tried the flow rider and loved it. It was a great weekend, though very hot yesterday, in the high 90's. It breaks my heart that this might be our last meet as a team. The kids all get along so well and the families are all very nice.

So today, it is laundry, and we will be meeting a family that goes to DS's school that is going on this trip as well. Should be fun.

The room was AMAZING Desiree. Next time they have a DVC event in California, could you let me know? I can use some airline passes from my DBIL and maybe come down. We would LOVE to stay there!
