Hi Wendy..since Rick rack is cotton, have you though about dying it. Rit dye would work well.
I have seen lavender rick rack at our Walmart. It is in the craft aisle on small spools. We don't have a fabric department in this one but do they do sell sewing machines, needles and thread in the same aisle.
i forgot i had a picture of the quilt. it is a picture of it without the border and being quilted. it is at the quilters getting quilted now
Me too!Would anyone like to explain that colored bias tape to me? It comes in so may different folds - how do you know which one to choose, and then how do you use it???? its so colorful, but Im afraid of it!!

I was not totally happy with the front bow
then I decided to add black ribbons and now I am not sure which looks better
with or without the black bow?

I'm here! I just lurk mostly...it's just about IMPOSSIBLE to keep up with everyone around here!
So, I totally hopped on board the Big Give and I had a blast making a couple of outfits for Miss Isabelle (STINKING CUTIE!!!)...I'm a bit nervous to post them because they're very simple...and I notice a lot of you are doing these amazing applique's and just incredible/elaborate outfits! Anyway, Miss Cammie said it best and I appreciate and her words! So, while I'm sure my outfits won't get worn on their trip, I'm just hopeful they will make Isabelle and Alicia smile and anticipate their trip a little more...and no matter what, I got to learn a little bit about a super incredible family and be a part of this BIG GIVE! Thanks again, Mousetriper....YOU ROCK!!!
I have some pics to share! First, I have my wonderful perm. This pic does not do it justice...I am at the pool, with some goofy smile. I got the perm because of the disboards!
Here is a one piece I made with some material my mom had. I didn't love the pattern, but it came out cute.
Another pooh dress, because one can't ever have too much pooh! This is CarlaC's simply sweet halter style pattern.
And I saved the best for last! This is my first CarlaC stipwork jumper. We went to the mountains for a few days for vacation and she NEEDED a mountain dress. I also made a matching dress for her doll. She loves it and I love the way it came out!
Thanks for looking!
