WOOOOHOOOOTY SPONGIEMISTY!!!!!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Melinda - Since snowwite lost two, that makes over 50 lbs.! WOOOHOOTY for the losing peeps! I am determined to be among you next week. You are most definitely not a thread killer. I just think that is getkidshomefromschooldohomeworkandfixdinnertime. ;)

JeriberJeanne - I love your Mother's ring. My DH got me one for our 10th anniversary. It has a Ruby, Diamond, and Aquamarine. Two for the kids and one stone for me. The only thing is, when I gained so much weight, I cracked it where it was sized. I had lost a lot of weight when he bought it, so it had to be sized down. Well, I don't want to have it sized up, so I need to lose this weight so I can wear my beautiful ring again.

Linda
- Welcome! Just jump right on in to our fun, supportive group. :cheer2: :cheer2:

Stacy - Definitely contact Disney. I don't think they would ever turn down money that someone was wanting to spend on their pics. ;)

I finally lost 2 #!!!!!!:cool1:
I am way too excited about it.
Way to go! That's great! I would be thrilled if I could say I lost 2#. I'm expecting to lose any week now. I'm still exercising and making better food choices but there is still plenty of room for improvement!

Hellooooooooooooooooooo everyone! I am here and ready to lose weight....Ok, maybe I'm not *totally* ready, but at least I'm here. ;) ...I am here to lose weight.....or maybe gain some weight loss SUPPORT would be more appropriate. I purchased a treadmill months ago and can count the number of times I have used it on one hand :rolleyes1 , so needless to say, I need some encouragement.
Welcome - glad to meet you! I'm 5' 4" also - lots of weight to lose. I know you can do it. It's great you have a treadmill at home. I can't believe how many times I could use mine but don't. I'm going to walk tonight before I go to bed! I promise!

Glad to have you!

I tried an elliptical over the weekend - after everyone talked about how hard it was I was surprised at how much I liked it. It made me feel good that what I've been doing on the treadmill really is helping me get in shape even though I don't feel like I look like it. I was able to do as much as my skinny sister-in-law!:dance3:

:welcome: Linda!!

Warning: this is addictive!!! But loads of fun and very informative!

Allie - who would you call at Disney?

:scared1: Please pray for me--It is Disciple Now weekend and I have 13 teenage girls in my houe all weekend :scared1: There is already girl drama going on--what fun. I will check in tomorrow when I can.

>50 POUNDS?! We Rock!!!!!!!!

300 WOOO HOOOOOOTY, Spongie!!! Thanks for the Uma update, too.

WELCOME, Linda! I have a whole lot of weight to lose, too, as do many here. I've been doing Weight Watchers for several weeks now. Between the support there and the awesome Peeps here, I always feel lifted up. Several of us are breaking our total weight loss goals down into smaller chunks so it doesn't seem quite so daunting. I'm working toward my first 30 pounds, DisneyFreak/Lynda is doing that too. We're glad you're here!

It's me again.

Ya'll I just have to tell you about this girl I know. Well, she is 15, same age as my daughter, her mom and I have been friends for a long time but as our children have gotten older and into different things we just dont get together like we used to.
Anyway, she has always been heavy even as a young child. The kids made fun of her- (kids are honest but sometimes they can be mean)

Oh, my gosh! She has lost 90#- did you hear me 90 pounds!!!!

This 5'8 baby is GORGEOUS!!!

I'm just so proud of her! She really did it. I asked her how- she said "I drink alot of water" (that water thing again), eat alot of salad and fruit. She made winter guard with the band(the new name for color guard down here) and they practice everyday - its kinda a flag, riffle, danceline kind of group- so she is getting regular exercise. I asked my daughter about her- wanted to make sure she wasnt starving herself- she has lunch with her at school and said she sometimes eats from the regular lunch line but just not as much as she used to. So WhoooHooty for Melissa!:cheer2:

Thanks for sharing this inspirational story!

((crickets chirping))

OH, NO!!!

I killed the peeps thread! :scared1:

Wendy's gonna kill me!! :scared:

I always kill it, dont worry lexy we luv you bunches

Hellooooooooooooooooooo everyone! I am here and ready to lose weight....Ok, maybe I'm not *totally* ready, but at least I'm here. ;)

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Linda. I am 26 years old and from Wisconsin. (yes, we are going to get over a foot of snow tomorrow) I have 2 kiddos and am a totally Disney freak. I have been there over 30 times in my lifetime and, if it wasn't for my husband's commission-based job, I would move down to Disney in a second. I vicariously live through my brother, who DOES work for Disney. He drives the monorail and I am supremely jealous when I hear how "hot" it is down there or how he gets to walk through my favorite hotel all of the time.

But, I digress.....I am here to lose weight.....or maybe gain some weight loss SUPPORT would be more appropriate.

I have struggled with weight my entire life, but mainly kept it at a manageable number, so to speak. Now, with 2 kids under my belt, my belt has LITERALLY expanded.

We are going to Disney over Christmas this year, come hell or high water, and I want to be able to walk through the turnstiles without having to turn sideways. We are also going to be trying for another baby next year, so I want to be healthy for that as well.

My weight loss goal is....um...Well, to be honest, I really don't have one, except I know I want to lose ALOT. I am 5'4" and weigh 187 pounds.....times 2. Yes, I weigh 375 pounds, but that's why I'm here! :)

I purchased a treadmill months ago and can count the number of times I have used it on one hand :rolleyes1 , so needless to say, I need some encouragement.

I can't wait to meet all of you!
:cheer2: :yay: :dance3: :woohoo: :beach: :joker: :rockband: party: :welcome: :hyper2: YAY!!!!! Fresh meat!!! I mean HI!!!

Work is great!! The girls and I are great. Dan is stuck in Minnesota for the weekend I believe cause they are gonna get like 15 inches of snow.

We have our first T-ware party next Tuesday.. Always something.

Hi to everyone else!!!

Love all y'all!!

:woohoo: I promised someone I was going to exercise tonight and despite putting it off until almost 10 I did 25 minutes on the bike - sort of a warm-up and twenty minutes on the treadmill. Don't ask me why I waited?! But I will say if I hadn't told "y'all" I was going to exercise I wouldn't have gotten up and done it. I've put it off and then not exercised too many times to think tonight would have been any different.

Watching old Oscar winners on TCM tonight - The Greatest Show on Earth, An American in Paris, Gigi...

:goodvibes Has anybody seen the Orlando commercial where a parent and child are at WDW (and other tourist attractions) and after the first ride the parents "a kid again" and you don't see the parent again until you see them in a reflection toward the end of the commercial? I just love it - kind of what it's all about.

ps - got my travel planning video in the mail today - haven't watched it all yet. Have to call and make ADRs - I think some people would be despairing that I haven't already made them all. :confused3 :rolleyes1
