What would you do if your resort room was left open all day?

Returned to our room after spending the day in the parks to find our room was left propped open by housekeeping all day.
When I reported to the cast members at the front desk his response was, “I’ll let housekeeping know” and he never apologized.
Housekeeping was apologetic and said they would look into it.
Nothing was taken from the room.
I’m annoyed this happened but I will let it go and continue to enjoy my vacation.
I’m just wondering if this has happened to anyone else or how you’d handle it if it happened to you?

What would I do?? I would lose my mind. I am not kidding. And my husband would lose his. After that, I would go to the front desk and not leave until I spoke with the general manager or manager on duty. We are very private, we don’t even allow housekeeping in our room to tidy (if they need to do a security check we would) but I do not want anyone looking at our stuff or touching our stuff.

I am glad nothing was stolen from you and I am glad housekeeping was apologetic. Mistakes happen but I would be so, so angry.

I believe in treating others how I want to be treated. The guy at the counter should have said more and done more in my opinion.

I would be LIVID And insist on speaking to manager that I no longer felt safe leaving my room.

I’d be pacified with some type of comp - free night, free meal, something. Even if nothing gone they should be bending over backwards.
