How do you mispronounce Scone?? Never thought of other ways to say it unless I am missing it
Reese's Pieces.
The candy company was originating by a man with the last name of Reese. You ever call somebody named that "Re-see"?
If it drives you crazy then try how they pronounce the city of Nevada, Missouri. Then again they have the same issues with Miami, MO and Versailles, MO too.Nevada
Growing up kids used to say, "I gotta go aks my mother." On no!!! lolBefore we get too far, I want to point out that "aks" has been an acceptable pronunciation of "ask" since the 1600's, thank you very much.

It's not a word mispronunciation, but a way of speaking that has become more common - skipping the T sound in the middle of words (T-glottalization). Button becomes buh'-on, mountain becomes moun'-in. It really makes me nuts.
