Lol! Actually haven’t heard those! How do you feel about "spilling some tea" or "the tea is good"?
My teen daughter introduced me to the concept of "tea". I was so confused why she was asking me if I wanted some tea when she knew I always got a Diet Coke!Lol! Actually haven’t heard those!
it has to mean something that isn't pleasant.
I get frustrated by people who do not enunciate their words. It's like nails on a chalkboard every time I hear someone say "ax" instead of "ask".
“Grace me no grace, nor uncle me no uncle” Richard II Act 2, Sc 3Any noun these days being used as a verb.
LL Cool J was "Going Back To Cali" all the way back in the late 80s, so I doubt that you can blame her generation.I know this isn't a phrase but I hate CALI for California. I think my daughter's generation (she's 32) started it.
Maybe he does.Mine is "living the dream". A guy I work with will answer the phone and it's obvious the client is asking "how are you?" and he always replies "living the dream"......hey dumb a$$ don't you know that really means you aren't happy with what your doing.
The use of hashtags.
Oh no sorry I meant when you're using it on social media or when it's on material things that are referencing how it's used on social media. For example one of my best friends uses it on nearly every single Facebook post for nearly every single thing..and she'll do the longer ones too like #wokupwrongsideofbed #wanttogobacktosleep #ihateconstruction #toocoldtogoout And that was in just 1 post of hers a couple weeks ago.Outside of the context of Instagram and Twitter?
Love to see Jordan & Keegan setting folks straight.
One phrase (not witty or trendy, however) that I've caught myself using too much is "long story short...".
As my wife likes to point out, many times when I use the phrase, I'm not actually cutting the story short.

I *might* make fun of my daughter when she uses that.On fleek.
I rolled my eyes just typing that.
