i'm not getting married (although i wish i were!), but i was looking through this and saw the nerds unite and had to post what my boyfriend and i are.

i'm going to grad school for molecular and cellular biology and my bf is going to grad school for computer science. talk about 2 nerds!

After a couple of years of that, I decided to get my MBA and I am now a Quality/Finance/Risk analyst for GE. My DF does web design/IT specialist work for the Federal Government...

DH is a software development engineer. He tries to explain to me what he does but it goes "whoosh" right over my head Another nerd alert!

I'm executive assistant to the VP of the Corporate division of the nation's largest retail tax company. It's a great job and it's our season right now!

Df and I met while we were working at a local record store but now I am a kindergarten teacher by day (I don't know for how much longer) and I coach high school cheerleading by night. I also run a theater camp for 3rd through 8th graders through the month of July. DF works for AIG insurance and despite my many conversations with him - I still have no clue what he does exactly!

I am so glad I am not the only one that doesn't know exactly what my DBF does! To make it worse, we work for the same company!

We also just opened our own digitizing/embroidery company - I digitize designs ( turn your logo into stitches for embroidery) and next March we will buy our first machine. right now, I contract the embroidery out ...

My Fiance is a system support manager, the company deals with cash registars etc. I'm in the club of not really having a clue about what he does, I do iron his shirts though and send him off to work with his lunch lol

But I am sure he is not an underwriter (his brother is tought). He just told me that the title of his job is a "coverage validation" something or other. Still no clue! When he talks to me about work its like he is speaking another language and I just turn off!
