Toy Story Land info, opening date, tests and pics.

Confirmation that Toy Story Land will open on the 17th August, 2010.
I'm quite excited about visiting the new land in October, hope that the area stays true to the concept art which did look very very good.

Unofficially the word is August 17th is the opening day.

This was only a test, as in.. it may go up and down a few more times.

It is the same ride but with different theming and different seats. It's supposed to be a gentle ride.

August 17th? Thats so long, over three months away. Disappointing as i will be there around August 4...

My first thought was also that it seems a little boring, but it is probably good fun when you're on it, and as others say it is good that smaller kids can hopefully enjoy it too.

It is a very gentle ride ... as I said me and my mum (she was 60 at the time) loved it ... my dad and brother thought we were mad and just watched

I was worried that as a size 22 I'd be too large for it but I wasn't ... I loved the fact you could see right across the park. It was all over very fast though ... and not worth waiting a while in a queue for!

No testing but they did attach the car to the halfpipe last week.

I believe it's taken longer because of the cold winter.
