I just have to make sure all my friends here see this! Mod- if this isnt ok- do as you have to. This guy was an imagineer. I am sure a lot of us have seen this, but it is sooo good to see again. He is so right in all that he says. I sure hope you all see what I did in this wonderful husband/father/son and fellow Disney lover. :goodvibes :thumbsup2

Thanks for posting this. What an inspiration he is!

It is funny, I'm not sure if it started when I became a Mom, or when I became a Mom of a child with Type 1 Diabetes (who still largely relies on me to help with management), but I do quite a bit of thinking about what would happen if something catastrophic happened to me. Not obsessed or anything, but it crosses my mind way more than it used to. I would like to think that I could have such a positive attitude, but you just never know until you are faced with it yourself.

Such a good reminder to live every day to its fullest and to make the most of the gifts you have been given.

Thank you for the link. What an INSPIRATION to us all!!! :goodvibes

I love that you posted this here. I read an article about Randy Pausch a few months ago and it was so inspiring.

I think we can all relate to the importance of fun in our lives, and the way that Disney facilitates our success in that area!:thumbsup2

Pete! You can't say your not living the dream! With a couple of thousand people on these boards dying for your job! We all appretiate what you do, and it must be stressful, but i can't imagine how cool it would be to do what you do.

BTW, the original lecture, also online, is really worth watching.

Thank you for posting this. I did see the original, but this time I sent it on to many friends and family. Life is so short and it's easy to lose sight of the important things; this video puts everything back into perspective.

FYI for anyone interested Randy is posting updates on his health:
