I'm still here following along! Still enjoying reading about your trip; your kids are too cute and look like a lot of fun. And I agree - sometimes you just gotta go around WS looking at everything, not with a goal in mind like Agent P. I wish I'd have had more time for that on my last trip!

We started heading out of Epcot...

Of course we had to ride SpaceShip Earth..I mean..you can't simply WALK by this and not jump in line afterall!

We hopped on the monorail.. headed to TTC.. switched to the resort line. We were early so we rode an extra ciruit..well as we get to MK the monorail is PACKED..a family with a giant stroller gets on.. the dad has a metal themos.. that falls.. it was loud..so loud the crew thought something broke on the monoral so we got delayed...lol.. come to find out the thermos was full of beer..epic!

So now we get off and head to the Luau. I was preparred for a cheesy show.. and bad food.. well we got the cheesy show...but the food was great. and the show, while cheesy in parts..well it was awesome in other parts. We def didnt feel this was a waste of credits!!

i HATE these stupid fake flower things!

My only "complaint" was the table was really too small for 5 of us..but we made due!

We had a great time..the pulled pork is amazing!

We leave..get on the monorail and guess what....we end up in the same car as my friend Heather and her husband and 2 boys.. too funny!!

We took the bus from MK back to the resort.. Taejan had a total meltdown..it was not pleasant..he stayed in the room while the other 2 went swimming.. then it was crash time!

Sorry to hear about Taejan's meltdown. I think it happens pretty often at WDW!! I know I saw quite a few in the parks! To be fair, I saw a lot of sleeping kids too.

Sorry to hear about Taejan's meltdown. I think it happens pretty often at WDW!! I know I saw quite a few in the parks! To be fair, I saw a lot of sleeping kids too.

We liked the Luau for sure..probably wont do it again for a few years though... Luckily Taejan only had maybe 2 meltdowns this trip.. and if you read my 2011 report youd know that was the trip of meltdowns!

I've heard mixed reviews about the Luau, but if the food is good, that's good enough for me! And, the fire twirlers look amazing. And HOT! Sorry about the meltdown, but glad there were few!

And LOL about the beer in the thermos!

September 22 2013 was day 11 of our trip. we had no real plan of attack for this day except we had lunch ADR's in MK... we slept in.. moved slow etc.. even with that we were at a bus stop by 9:40. We got to the MK and headed directly over to the Fire Station so Declan can get his cards for the day. I look and I see our friends!! Hi Jason and the boys!

We headed to the left..

We spotted this guy on the way!

We didnt do Country Bears in 2012 so off we went...

It was hysterical because the little boy behind us said "That one looks like daddy" EVERY time a new bear was showcased...I was nearly dying laughing it was so cute!

After that , with his Hidden Mickey book in hand, we headed off to Haunted Mansion

Taejan found someones Magic Band and turned it in... then this:

Now..it was food time. We have never tried Liberty Tree Tavern and I was really excited to. We checked in.. waited..they called the "Droids" family..face plant.. there's a Z in our last name and only one vowel so it gets messed up bad all the time ( never mind my kids first names..lol).. usually hostesses just use our first names..much easier..lol..

We sat upstairs and had a wonderful meal..one of the best of the trip!
After this we headed over to the kids favorite spot:

Tom Sawyer Island!

So many people overlook Tom Sawyer Island.. I dont get it.. we LOVE it.. the kids get to run around blowing off steam, we get a shady break oh and the bathroom in the fort is sooooo cold..its kinda awesome..lol

As we disembarked the boat a guy ( holding a small kiddo) didnt listen and ended up falling with his kiddo in his arms.. sigh..people just dont think the rules apply and then this happens because of it!

I do wish they still had a snack location over here.. but thats ok..

the kids love running around the fort

the tunnels are pretty cool..even if the highlight of them for my kids is scarying the crud outta mom..

inside the tunnel..after they scared me..with flash on..lol

Now we return to the mainland..I run ( walk not run ) to grab paper FP's to Big Thunder and we see EMTS at the dock ..another guy fell ! EMTS this time.. with his leg stabilized.. no clue what happened but geez people!

Ok now we are off to....

Somehow in 5 trips I've only ever ridden this once.. and Eric and the kids never..so I was determined to take them on this most exciting ( not) ride!


So , this ride may not be exciting..but it is a nice ride with some great views..

seriously..Taejan was enthralled with the mechanical aspects of this boat..it was great!

a little time to trade SoTMK cards too of course!

Holy line.. glad we rode that earlier...dang!

then . of course, we had to stop and do some trading?

and then it was time to double ride Big Thunder.. this easily became our favorite family ride this trip!

excuse the sunglasses..those would be my mickey ones I bought on Park Day one... they are cute..but they do NOT stay on my nose..very annoying!

we rode the Railroad the whole loop because we had some time until our FP+

We then ride Splash..it was pouring..

this time Declan stayed upright and Ziah hid.. Taejan did his now signature "gonna blow chunks" face @@

and for some reason walked over to Tomorrowland..not sure why we didnt just take the train?? I dunno

Did I mention it was pouring?

Eric , Taejan and Ziah rode Space Mountain...

at this point its about 4pm.. we are hungry and tired..

We had never eaten at Casey's so we did..it was packed ( cus of the rain of course).. the kids LOVED they got cotton candy as their "dessert"..

It was back to the resort to swim ...

I did laundry.. then we packd what clean clothes we didnt need for the rest of the trip. The realization the trip was coming to a close hit me.. it sucked! The kids swam some more.. then we went back to the room. I decided I wanted to do something else we had never done.. go to evening EMH and close the MK down ( or close to it)..so off we went to the bus stop!!

Now we arrived to MK about 9pm.. Declan wanted to do a Pirate Adventure so off to AdventureLand we went!

The Pirate Adventures are actually very cool.. we were done with that and headed off to

Time for some SoTMK play time too!

we got to watch a little of The Main Street Electical Parade

yes..thats a selfie in/near the Rapunzel Bathroom...

this area is even prettier at night..

more wandering..honestly not sure if/what we rode..but we were having a great time that I remember!

I do know we rode Ariel..because if we didnt we feared she would pop out of the ride and attack!

The kids were itching to play in the Dumbo play area..we , even though there was NO line , in we went..

And of course after that what does every family do at 11:30 at night..get iccee's of course!

Can't leave without riding Buzz!

Then a nice ride through Tomorrowland on the People Mover

then what everyone should do on Main Streey USA at 12:23am!

Love the cartwheel pics! And Declan's blue tongue on Buzz. And, everytime there is a pic of your DH on Buzz, I laugh. His face is always so serious.

My favorite though? The Splash Mountain pic. I didn't even think Jadziah was on there and then I saw the top of her head. I thought you were missing a kid!

Great update. The MK is so beautiful at night. I love being there then!
