It's Tuesday!!

So yesterday at the end of the shift, someone said they were walking out with me. I said I'm not leaving right away, I'm going down to the gym. Well, that started it... Seems there are people with gym memberships that aren't going, and think it's a great idea to go right after work. One of my friends said she always wanted to join, but didn't want to go alone. I think I might have some friends to motivate me now

Morning, everyone!! I'm a mess this morning--sinus/cold crud. My eyes are watering & my nose is pouring. . .TMI, sorry!! I'm just hoping DS doesn't catch this stuff!!

Oh well, another day, another list!!

morning everyone!!!

well it's day 2 of vacation and bubba has a friend coming over. we went to get my car last night and that pretty much sucked up most of my fun $! i'm hoping that those 2 will play and i can hopefully get some stuff done around here. i put a ton of mom's stuff away yesterday.

so my list consist of....

make beds
finish picking up kitchen
laundry/fold and PUT AWAY!
clean bathroom. did not do yesterday.
country chicken for supper
mail out death certificates to people that are bugging me for them.
call appt owner today AGAIN
post office to mail other things
vacuum living room. -although dh is painting and going to rip the rug up i still have to vacuum it.
lunch with bubba and his friend.

ok that should do me for today.

Morgan and I have today off. She has a 9:30 appt at the allergist and we need to be there early to fill out paperwork. They said to plan to be there an hour and a half, so I'd better bring a book.

Got an email yesterday asking for help with the school playground this morning, so we'll go over there after the doctor and help out. I think they want to do some painting and cleaning up before open house and the ice cream social on Thursday.

May try to get to the LSS for my Bazzill for the Resort Swap. That is the ONLY thing I'm buying though. I'm on a spending freeze (until my Gypsy comes in!), I've been way crazy spending lately and it's got to stop! But, if it's a warm day, we may go to the pool, only a few more days of it being open, so we should use it while we can!

Holly not kidding according to the website it looks like the sandblasting part may be closed till mid sept I'm going to call once the entire house is up.
My great grandfather worked in the Barre VT granite quarries when he immigrated and this is something I've wanted to do with the boys forever just wanted them to be old enough to really remember and see the whole thing.

After we go wether it's today or when the sandblasting thing is open I'll tell you all about it. I live SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO far away from it, (45 mins) that it's pathetic I've never gone.

Mornin! DD had a GREAT day yesterday! She came home really happy (like a weight was lifted off her shoulders) and was even sweet to her brother. Why is it that day 2 of school is already hard for her to get out the door? Yesterday she had free time.

Talk to DH about the color to paint the guest room. He too is pulling up a carpet. We are going to put in wood flooring. We decided we might as redo the whole room, it hasn't been painted since we built the house in 1990.

Check the Kennedy Space Center's web site. The launch was delayed from 2:00 am this morning. Need to find out when it is going to be launch. I have ALWAYS wanted to see a launch, and this is coming from someone who is not a science geek. I still don't understand how it is I get power from water waaaaaaaay up in Niagra Falls when I turn on my light switch. I just know I do.

Have a great trip down Lisa! If the launch is happening while you are in Florida you just need to be outside at the right time and you can see the shuttle pass- you can actually see it better from orlando than the space center. We were at the center for a launch last Christmas time.

Joyah- hope you can do the sandblasting - that sounds like fun.

Jennifer- good luck on the spending ban

sit through some sex harrassment stuff (or maybe go to the room and work on swaps)

the food here is really good but the chairs are not really nice on the bottom- I may bring a pillow with me for the weekend just in case.

DH has been on the phone w/ the brace maker we were referred to by his previous employer (they were a rehab hospital and he keeps in touch w/ several of them)... He called them.. They say they are in our network.. DH has a call out to verify w/ insurance, a call to the sports med specialist.. another call out to ex... another call back to insurance making them aware she is NOT allowed to contact them in regards to his insurance that he and I are the only ones and we now have a password that is to be used on our account at all times... She was actually calling in and giving them improper information @ insurance which was thus causing the issues! MORON! Didn't I tell you that somedays she makes me wonder why she exists.... We have those issue ironed out now and are awaiting the final notifications that they are in network and an appointment set up.. This also justified my reasons to DH why he must attend appointments for the kids at all times because she can't ever get the info right...

ETA: the referred brace maker is not in network.. We have 2 that are in network, now trying to contact specialist..

Did you know my brother works for NASA? He does! He lives in Titusville, FL (right near Cape Canaveral/Kennedy). I've seen a few space shuttle launches, we used to live in Titusville too. I am not a science geek (I'm just a geek), and I love that stuff! Totally cool (wicked pissa), I hope you get to see it! Have a great time!

Morgan sweated off a patch within an hour of it being put on. Urgh. Oh well, I reapplied it, hopefully it will stay for 2 days and not be a problem. It's supposed to cool off tomorrow, so here's hoping.

We went to the school to help paint the playground and they ran out of paint, so we just checked out her classroom. The teacher had been there, but wasn't when we got there...She had pictures up though and she's YOUNG! Woot! I think M's going to have a great year!

Congrats to DD Ash, I'm glad her first day went well and she was nice to her brother!

Uh, sandblasting? That sounds really neat!
