SPR meeting- setting DH's salary package for the next year

Rebecca

Is this something that is open to the entire church to attend? Here it is decided by the church board and the minister in a meeting. The salary information is later released to the congregation in the yearly budget.

Yay for Blythe coming home!! Such great news!! :cool1:

Super busy but productive day here. First brought my furbaby to the vet for a quick weigh-in. Then I had to go in to work to do an extra fun project of moving about a hundred boxes from one storage closet to another (I outgrew the first). I think my arms will hurt tomorrow. My uncle called this weekend to ask if he could stay with us one night this week, which is fine, but the house needs a deep cleaning before hand, so that was the big project of the day.

BUT - it was a fantastic day because I finally got to meet my BFF's new little boy today! He's 9 days old, but he spent an extra week in the hospital under the phototherapy lights for jaundice, so he just came home this weekend. Such a little angel! I didn't get a picture of him alone because I was holding him the whole visit, so here's one she sent out from when he was born:

Isn't he adorable?!! It was so precious to watch his 3 year old big sister interact with him. Such a fun visit!

My great-grandparents got married in Syracuse, but they aren't from there; so there isn't much additional to research. They were from Illinois and Wisconsin. I recently obtained a newspaper clipping announcing their marriage, and it also said that my great-grandfather was at the Syracuse Recruit Camp at the time (WWI).

The people I am researching are Reuben A Nelson (from Cumberfield, WI) and Velma R Shippy (from Freeport, IL) married 24 Sep 1918. Reuben was with the 100th Company, 24th Battalion.
