YesDoes anyone know if practicing on the Disneyland app is the same process as MDE? Seeing how it works at opening for myself seems much more reasonable at 11 AM my time than 6, lol.

Yes, that was my thought this past week - when I read a news article that the Kardashians had been at the Magic Kingdom. I wondered if perhaps they had also been at Hollywood studios, and how that might mess up the wait times.DH keeps showing me social media posts where this or that football player or other VIP was at WDW the last few days. Any possibility that some of the late starts and frequent “breakdowns” the last few days have been related to VIP tours vs. actual attraction issues? I’ve read the reports above of parts of it not working but wondering if there won’t be so many interruptions once the Pro Bowl and Super Bowl stop bringing a lot of VIPs into town.

Quick question for IOS App usesrs. When you say “refresh the app” do you mean go back one screen and hit “find out more again”? Heading to WDW in 3 days!
I would walk from there. It’s like a 10 min walk. We're staying at the Dolphin... There doesn't seem to be bus service from the Dolphin to Epcot and HWS because they are already so close. If boats don't start running until an hour before park opening, but we were thinking of being at HWS an hour early - does that mean we are walking (or ubering)?
We order a cab and paid for it in advance. Hoping that insures a rideWe're staying at the Dolphin... Yup. We walked when staying at the boardwalk. It was least stressful since all we had to deal with was bag check and the tap stiles to get in.Agree.
If physically able, walking from the crescent lake resorts is going to be as stress free as you can get getting to DHS. Take advantage lol!
Thanks! That'll probably be what we do.Agree.

Cast members have been coming around making people stand up who are sitting
I think it's just a little disheartening that they're running out of main BG's in a minute or less, especially when they were lasting longer during busier times
The no sitting on the floor is a safety issue. When they have large groups of people in one small area it's not safe to sit cause people can actually trip overThat is not good. Mom is 74. Them telling her to stand instead of sit is about the only thing that could unhinge me. Sounds very unDisney like.
Yes, I dont understand that as well. Last week BG were at least lasting 5 minutes. Could it actually be busier or are they just not putting as many people in the boarding group
Thank you! The last time we were at the Dolphin we walked to Epcot all the time, but never to HWS. 10 or even 15 minutes - that's not bad. That'll probably be what we do.I would walk from there. It’s like a 10 min walk.
Do you want to try and report back what happens? FastPasses can be scanned in up to 15 minutes late...We had to leave the park for a ADR and our BG was called at 6:05 and we only have an hour to return. We can’t make it that quickly. Such a bummer.
They are still calling groups. Usually they stop 2 hours before regular park close, but since they changed it to one hour to return they will probably call groups till at least 7pm. What group is she?My daughter is in the park today and I don’t have time to look for the answer to her question,
How late in the day do they continue to call backup boarding groups, and do they call groups during evening EMH.
Regular park close is at 8 pm with EMH until 10.
They have only kept the ride open into evening EMH once and it was because they hadn’t gotten through regular boarding groups yet.My daughter is in the park today and I don’t have time to look for the answer to her question,
