Does the system allow you to have multiple devices/browsers for registration when doing it on AP/DVC day? Wasn't sure because it makes you sign-in to verify.
1. You will see a lot of runners in elaborate costumes, some runners in themed running apparel, but not a costume per se, and runners wearing normal running clothes. Whatever you choose would not be out of place. I once ran a Marvel themed race at Disneyland dressed as Batman being trained by Yoda. (Batman is owned by a different comic book company). At worst there was very good natured teasing.
I'll add one thing on the customers. If you are going to run in a costume, do at least one good training run in it so you know how it feels. haven't done princess but done a lot of rundisney races and it is kinda funny where at around mile 1 or so you start seeing a lot of tutus and other pieces of costumes on the side of the road. Sometimes that costume that looks great isn't necessarily great to run in so always good to try it out before heading to the race.

Absolutely. You want to know just what the costume will feel like during a race and just how willing you are to put up with it as the miles mount and you get even hotter and sweatier. And if you're adding a wig into the mix, then you will likely want to know what you're in for.I'll add one thing on the customers. I once ran a Star Wars 10K with one of the non collapsible toy lightsabers that light up pretty well in the dark. Looked great in photos, but my arm certainly felt the effects of carrying that thing around for 6.2 miles. Ever since that race, I have only run with a toy lightsaber featuring a collapsible blade. I have seen people considering running with one of the Galaxy's Edge lightsabers and I did my best to talk them out of it. Those are heavy. My favorite was someone who must have had a Merida costume dumped their bow and arrow quiver at the 4 mile mark during the Princess half. Was very tempted to pick them up, but I didn't want to carry them for the next 9 miles either!
Definitely a little more nervous about registration than I've ever been before after watching all of that today and last Thursday, that's for sure!
I was supposed to run with 7 other women. Several are now getting concerned that only some of us will get registered and some will get shut out. Three are thinking about “dropping out” at this point
I am going to register. But there are two, maybe three, who are considering dropping out now. So not my decision to make.No.. do not drop out now. Wait and see how registration goes then look at options.
Wow. All this training and sounds like a good possibility of getting shut out of the 10k. That’s so sad! There are three of us. Super nervous now! If booking a TA package, I’m assuming TA has to book everything right? They can’t just secure a bib? We are staying in a DVC room since one of us is a member.
Question, if my cousin does get a registration during early DVC registration and I don’t during regular, can she transfer hers to me if she decides to let me have it?
Hello everyone, it’s been a while since I’ve posted. I think the last time was before this year’s princess, my first rundisney race. Like everyone else I’ve been nervous about registration this year given how quickly MW sold out. I decided to give the TA route a try and contacted one a few days ago. They initially told me they were sold out of bibs but contacted me the next day and said they had the 10k and half available. Not sure how they had more available that soon or how that works. Just grateful to have a spot and not have to deal with the stress of registration day.
Silver Level Club runDisney does or does not guarantee you a race spot? I think I'm getting stressed over this!
ah, yes. that seems to make sense. My understanding has been that Club RunDisney benefits do not start until October, so guaranteed registration for Princess would apply to registration in 2021 for the 2022 race.

Is anyone else nervous about booking for next February?
I've not had much luck with booking trips in the last few years. I've booked with two well-known travel companies in 2017 and 2019, both of which went bust but luckily I received full refunds from my credit card company and ATOL respectively. Then this year I've had two trips cancelled because of Corona virus. Luckily I received one full refund and one credit note so again, I have been fortunate but my luck may run out!
The 10 day trip from the UK to WDW next year for the Princess run costs more than all the other trips so I'm feeling a little hesitant in case we have a re-occurance of corona virus next winter. Am I being over-cautious? What's your feelings on it?
