I admit I'm jealous of all the brides with their POTD thread. Us brides to be have some great pictures as well. So lets go for it!

Today - Engagement picture, preferably the one you're using for announcements.

But since I already use this one as my avatar, here's what happened behind the scenes at that photo shoot.

I don't think many couples do engagement pics here in the UK (none of my family or friends have!). Plus, my family weren't happy when we got engaged (that was 4 years ago, they are very happy now, luckily!!). We only had a party because a friend threw a surprise one for us.

What a great idea! I was getting jealous too! It'll be a year before I can post on the other thread. Here's mine - it wasn't an "official engagement" picture - it was taken a few months before while we were on vacation in Punta Cana, but we are going to use it in the announcements.
