Are the plates really big or the portions really small? I saw the Animator's Palate plates on the first page page of this thread - I actually bought (at the art auction) a plate from the early 2000's and it was shaped like a paint palate with a couple sections. I'll have to see if I can find it! Am sure they were hard to work with since they were an odd shape.

The portions on some things are kinda small. They'll bring you more than one though.

Generally they do not like you to take leftovers back to your stateroom from the dining rooms, but if your servers are rather lenient you might be able to.

We've never had issues and if you ask for them to box one up they will do so.
