Hello everyone!

We have just recently returned from our latest Disney vacation. We had a great visit and my DD informed me that this was our best Disney vacation yet, hence the title of this thread;)

We arrived on Friday night 9/6 and left on Monday 9/16.

Hope you follow along as I relive our trip.

We have our Magicbands and we are ready to go

We arrived at MCO and headed to Magical Express. We pulled out our first set of Magicbands to use at ME, and guess what, they didn't work. Luckily I had my original paperwork from ME and we used that. Onto the bus, next stop is POP. We checked in and were given another set of Magicbands, this ended up being a recurring theme. We used the new bands issued at POP for the remainder of our trip. Well, some of us did....

We met up with the rest of the family at POP, spent the night and took a cab in the morning to:

Here is the gang at our villa - minus me of course since I am taking the pic:)

To be continued...

I love that idea of taking a picture with your group on the balcony! I haven't gone with a large group forever. I'll have to keep that in mind for next time.

Our plan of action on BCV check-in day was to cab it over at 7am and head over to DHS for EMH. Unfortunately it took forever to check in, issues with our Magicbands, not being checked out by POP, etc... We had new Magicbands waiting for us when we arrived at BCV, we were able to continue to use our bands from POP and kept the new ones as souvies. It was already 8:45am before we were at DHS. So much for EMH. We got FP for Toy Story and rode RNR and TOT several times. We were wandering the park when I received a text, I thought this was our room number but this is what it said: Please see the front desk about your room assignment when you arrive at your Resort.
Everyone in our group is trying to guess what was up, was it an Upgrade, are they overbooked and moving us??? We had a FP for TS for 11:30 and it was only 11am. Everyone was so curious that we forgot about the FP and headed to the resort. I knew we wouldn't be that lucky to be upgraded, but one can hope. All it ended up being was our room number. :rotfl2: All that excitement for nothing. Well our room is ready so let's go check it out.

Next up is the view.

We really liked the villas. We thought the 2 bedroom unit was very spacious and we liked our location. We were on the fourth floor at the end closest to the BC. We thought it was very quiet. Here is our view.

My DH noticed that the back tires on my DD's double stroller were low on air . He tried to use a pump to inflate them but the stem where you connect the pump wasn't sticking out of the tire far enough so he couldn't do it. He went to the front desk to ask for a pair of pliers to pull out the stem so he could attach the pump. They told him they couldn't loan him the pliers but their engineering department would fix it in 5 minutes. Great! They inflated the tires and off we go. We spent the afternoon in Epcot and had an awesome lunch at Biergarten.

We returned to the Villa and I had a surprise arranged for my DH
null_zpsbbb6f41e.jpg

This was from Y&B private dining. It was a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting and filling. It was really good.

Our next day was Sunday and we went to Epcot in the morning. We used our FP's that we had scheduled on MDE and it was nice not having to rush to the headliners. Most of the time we didn't even need our FP's but it was nice having them. We also could use our KTTW card and our AP's for FP's. We only did this once when we had FP's scheduled for our afternoon park and we wanted to get a FP for Toy Story

Next up is AK and Stormalong Bay.

BCV is such a pretty resort!! I definitely want to stay there some day!!

I fell in love with both the BCV and the BC, I am going to have a tough time staying anywhere else from now on.

AK - this was another good day for us. We used FP's for the Safari, EE, and Kali.

We toured Dinoland with the little ones, and we watched our favorite show FOTLK.

Since we had FP's already scheduled, we took our time when we arrived and we met someone we hadn't seen before. Can you guess who??? Look closely at the pictures.

In case you haven't guessed it, it is DEVINE. She sure surprised a few unsuspecting people as they walked by.

We ate lunch at Flame Tree and this was our view

We also rode my favorite at AK, Kali. I am the blonde protecting my grandson from the water sprays, he was okay until people (his mom) started spraying him from the bridge area LOL

We headed back to BCV to go swimming:cool1:

When I got to the resort I took another picture of the lovely view and of course I have to share

Next up will be SAB

Just wanted to mention that I have just completed my first dining report with lots of pictures if anyone would be interested. I don't know how to do a link but the title is Fifield Family Food Reviews and pictures

SAB - We were so excited to finally get to try this pool.:cool1: We loved it!!!
We tried out every area except for the sinking sands area which was closed the whole time we were there. BOO. The rest was great. My grandson participated in some of the afternoon games and had a good time. Here are just some random pictures for you. Hope you like them.

We went to MK 3 times during out trip. MK was nicely decorated for Halloween and it was also pretty empty.

Hi! I've just found your report and I'm reading all about your family's trip! My family is planning a trip for Jan/Feb. I have a 5 and 10 yr old. Would they like BC? I'm torn b/w the Epcot resorts v. the Monorail resorts. Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated!

Time to check into the BC CL! So excited. I had Bell Services come and pick up our luggage. Then I made my family use the outside sidewalk that leads to the front of the BC, so it was like we were just arriving instead of just coming from the BCV. My family thought I was crazy, but I wanted to get the full experience, so they complied. We walk up to the front entrance and we were approached by a CM, we told her we were staying CL so she escorted us up to the 5th floor.

Hyacinth checked me and my group into our room and another CM checked my DD and her family into their room. Our rooms were ready. Check-in took a long time again because of the magic bands. After getting the same bands we had been using to work for this stay we went to check out the rooms. We had requested connecting rooms and daybeds. We got both requests.

Our rooms were directly in the middle of the main entrance to the BC and just a short walk down the hallway from the lounge. We thought the location was pretty good for a standard view. I didn't care about the roof below me.

Room 5662 was my DD's room. It has a queen bed, a daybed, and a chair that turns into a bed. It also had a dividing curtain to separate the two areas. We also requested a real crib and got one. This room seemed so big with only one bed in it.

Now I need some help, can anyone tell me what this is supposed to be? The maid did this and I am not sure what it should be.

Any guesses?
