Well I can't decide whether to book or not. My TA has a hold on the 5/3016 Alaska. Prices are even higher than I had previously thought.

I'm thinking something is up. When I posted those prices for the EC and WC, I had to go back to confirm the dollar amounts. Then I noticed the starting price for the 8/13 EC had dropped a few hundred dollars. I wonder if they're adjusting as they hear from customers? I'll take back what I said about price and reserve judgment but the itinerary is still a no-go for me.

We like the pricing of the 8/27 Eastern, but really wanted to do a Western itinerary (before school starts). We did the Eastern in Feb. I think we'll likely keep the TA booking for now and drop the other two holds. I'd be way more excited if the 8/27 sailing was a Western.

I booked this cruise yesterday for a 9D and did not see any change in price (up or down) for that category as of a few minutes ago. I did notice that the inside staterooms are now more than some oceanview staterooms.

I booked this crusie this morning -
2 Adults, Cat 5C, $3000. This is $400 cheaper than roughly the same cruise this year. I was booked on the 5/2/15 Fantasy Eastern, Cat 5C, for $3400. When the final payment was due, I decided to cancel. So now I'm going next year for $400 less. I was really surprised at the price difference.
