Omg I'm pregnant how to tell hubby in wdw! Update

As much as my husband supports the whole message board thing, I cannot even tell you how upset, saddened, and even devastated he would be to know that the entire world of strangers on the Dis found out before HE did.

He would feel the same about me keeping the news from him for even an hour after I found out.

Of course, that would be impossible since he knew, I mean KNEW, very very very shortly after conception. Apparently my entire BEING changed, head to toe, and he was actually the one that bought me the stick to pee on, just so I would stop dithering and wondering. Even as newlyweds he knew me, my personality, and my body so well that he absolutely knew. So a surprise like this would be impossible.

I'd pull back on this one, tell him NOW, and stop it with the surprise. And maybe you'll find out he knew already.
Ha ha no this isn't our relationship at all. We have a very light hearted relationship he couldnt care less if a bunch of strangers knew before him esp if it was for his benefit and there's no way I'd ruin a great memory like this opportunity by telling him now but thanks for your advice!

We are here but I'm waiting until we get to Mk im going to tell him by the castle during the fireworks I think I'll go with the pin idea pinned on my belly because I should have mentioned we do have a Dd with us so the Daddy ears won't work since he already is one. I Also don't think I can buy anything without him seeing but I might be able to sneak a pin geez I just don't know if anyone else has any ideas please chime in. Too exciting!!!

Tell him when you are in front of the castle that you are feeling nauseous then break into a big smile or say you want to go get something to eat, choose something you wouldn't normally eat then say it must be the cravings. Or simply tell him in front of the castle. Whatever way it will be perfect l'm sure & a wonderful memory to treasure. Excited for you. Post back & let us know.

:jumping1:omg I can't believe it my dr just called and told me I'm pregnant and we are leaving in a few hours!!!! Any fun ideas on how to tell my hubby while we are there! I'm so excited we have been seeing a fertility specialist for over a year now I can't believe it. I know it's too soon to be excited but what a perfect place to tell him it's crazy!!!

First - Congrats!!!!

Second - Not sure if anyone has said this, but here one way to announce it: I'm sorry but the Dr. said I cannot ride Expedition Everest this time...

Third - Another option: I know it's midnight but there are EMH and I need a Dole Whip!

Are you serious? I don't remember pirates having a warning and we went on it while I was pregnant and I got so worried after the drop until I felt the baby kick again.

I even told my friend who later went while she was pregnant not to go on it. It scared me so bad.

ETA: No current pregnancy warning on website, BUT there should be one.

OMG I just rode Pirates 6 months pregnant. Why on earth did riding it scare you??!! The drop is nothing. You're jostled around more when you slam on your brakes while driving!

Pregnancy warnings should always be discussed with your Dr. My wife was a bus aide on a school bus in a rural area of MN (lots of gravel roads). Her bus ride was bumpier than many roller coasters and she did that without problem until she was about 8 months pregnant. Then I finally convinced her to stop. A LOT of rides have warnings even though they probably aren't an issue. However, there is ALWAYS a potential to have problems because of a sudden drop or an unexpected jerk to the side or lurch forward. A lot of it depends on the mother. The warnings are there to protect WDW more than anything else. Consult with the Dr on what might or might not be a problem depending on your health and how far along you are.

I don't have any great ideas but wanted to say CONGRATS! And I can't wait to hear how you surprised him and what he thought! :D

oh do they have these??? And thanks everyone for the warm wishes you guys are all so sweet!
They have "I'm celebrating...." buttons and you or a CM writes underneath what you're celebrating. You could also pop in a shop and buy ears or a baby thing--plus something for sister--and have it sent back to your room so you can have the surprise set up there, if you decide not to do it in a park. Whichever you think is best for your family :). And congratulations. As someone who had no issues getting pregnant, but watched a very dear friend struggle (and our first DD's ended up born 6 weeks apart), I've seen it up close and it breaks my heart for those who have to try so hard. Always so happen to see that wish finally come true :)

CONGRATS!!!! I ❤️ This post! I think it is so sweet to surprise him & your DD at WDW! Can't wait to hear what you came up with!!!!!

I'd make a sign that says "we're pregnant!" folded in half. Have the first photo pass photographer in the park take a picture of you and your husband with your camera phone. Hold up the sign at the last minute. After the picture is taken, hide the sign, show your husband the photo and ask him what he thinks of it. ;)

Or have balloons waiting in the room.

Congratulations!
I love this idea!!!!

Maybe it's the boat and who is on it. It was awful for me! We did take on water and that was in 2013, so maybe it just depends??

I think if you're not expecting the drop it could be startling.

I hate roller-coasters, and I didn't particularly like that drop on POC.
