Old fast food promotion for free plane tickets?

I was just remembering years ago there was some kind of promotion where people were dumpster diving to get codes off of fast food drinks maybe? Does anyone remember this? I thought people on the boards did this.

I can not remember the details. I just rememeber people talking about going through the trash to collect codes off fast food wrappers. I thought maybe it was McDonald’s Monopoly but I can’t find anything to do with that regarding flights.

I bought $30 worth of Jello and got a $600 voucher for travel, I had to book air and hotel.

There was also one from AirTran and Wendy's cups.

32 for one way, 64 for round trip.

Lots of people went dumpster diving at the restaurant for free tickets.

I don’t remember that one, but I do remember the McDonald’s Olympic game from the summer of 84. Most of the communist countries boycotted, so the Americans ended up winning lots of things. Poor college kids got a lot of free food that summer.
