The 2 pin limit for the first set was only for the day of the release.
The next day, you could buy 10 of each if you wanted to

This is fairly standard for any of their releases -- including bean bags, etc. that they mark as "collectible".
Tinkerkat -- you are right -- Collectible categorization also means you MUST have a receipt to bring one back and it MUST be within 30 days of purchase!!!

I am lucky -- 5 TDS within 45 minutes of me
