Official May 2011 thread!

My DH called me from Afghanistan and told me that he's taking our DD and me to WDW from May 27-June 3!!! W00T! I can't wait! It was a total surprise since he is usually a reluctant Disney husband! :lmao:

How awesome is that????? I'm sure it will be WONDERFUL for you to be together AND at the happiest place on earth to boot! It doesn't get much better than that! :thumbsup2

Can your husband call up my husband and give him some tips on how to surprise his lady with a trip? Granted my hubby is great at going along for the ride, but never in FIVE MILLION YEARS can I see him planning a trip on his own. What can I say? He needs me or he'd sit at home every day of the year saving money for nothing. :rotfl:

I'll play along....here is our Itinerary/dining plan for 5/5-5/14

- 5/5 fly into MCO, take ME to BCV have dinner at Cape May Cafe before heading over to MK until close (11pm that night).

- 5/6 going to Epcot that day to celebrate my youngest DD's b-day having breakfast at Akershus before the park opens, lunch at Le Cellier, and then dinner at Garden Grill

- 5/7 going to DHS where we have the Fantasmic Dining Package for Mama Melrose for lunch and doing some sort of CS for dinner before Fantasmic.

- 5/8 is Mother's Day/no park day...we will have breakfast at Cape May Cafe, then at 2pm both DDs and I are heading over to GF for some Afternoon Tea while DH hangs out by himself. For dinner we will all be going over Narcoossee's, after dinner we are thinking of heading to DTD to do some shopping.

- 5/9 going over to MK where we will have breakfast ressies for CP (before park opens) then having lunch at The Plaza before heading back to the resort for some good R&R. For dinner we are going to California Grill then after dinner we will head back to MK because it is opened until 2am :goodvibes

- 5/10 is our AK day with late breakfast ressie at Tusker House, then late lunch at Yak and Yeti, then for dinner we are going to Yachtsman's Steakhouse.

- 5/11 is our other off day so we plan on just lazing around Stormalong Bay but not before having breakfast over at 1900 Park Fare and then for dinner we will be going to SoA for the 8pm show. We do plan on going over to B&C for some cheeseburgers and/or one of their wonderful ice cream sundaes for lunch.

- 5/12 going back to MK to celebrate my oldest DD's b-day. We are going to have breakfast at O'hana's before MK opens, for lunch we will go over to Tony's Town Square, for dinner it is CRT and then we have ADRs for Wishes Dessert Party....I know, I know, tons of food we will probably be rolling ourselves back to BCV, but we are up for the challenge.

- 5/13 we are going back to Epcot we plan on having breakfast at Captain's Grill, lunch at Chefs de France in hopes to see Remy, and then for dinner we are trying out the new Via Napoli.

- 5/14 is our departure day but before we leave we are going over to Epcot we will not be doing anything special for breakfast but for lunch we will be going over to Corral Reef. Our plane doesn't leave until really late (we will be on ME about 5:30pm) so we have lots of time to play at Epcot before leaving.

We are on the DxDDP and I know we are doing a ton of TS restaurants. Like I said before we are up for the challenge plus it helps us to really slow down during the day and not be so commando. We can't wait :goodvibes
