Hello! We are heading there Dec. 10th-17th. Unfortunately, I just realized I missed my window for ADR's!! Of course everything we wanted is not available...Akershus, Be Our Guest QS or Dinner, Ohana, 1900 Park Fare. I have subscribed to the cancellation thread. I am so bummed I forget to put the date in my phone. I couldn't even get a normal time for lunch at Via Napoli. Ahh well, I am just excited that it is only 6 months away!

I don't know the answer to your question but I just wanted to share that I will also be there Dec 10-17 and am just as excited! Good luck to you getting your ADRs!

Hi all! Lots of activity here yesterday. We booked our flights and added a day to the beginning of our vacation!

We booked SW out of Providence, departing 5:30 am Saturday 12/16, still staying at AKV until Friday the 22nd. Our flight home lands at 1:05 am on Saturday the 23rd. So happy to have another day at The World!

Gotta get to sleep early tonight so I can book my ADRs online at 6:00 am. Good luck to everyone else still needing to do this.

Welcome aboard! I have added you to the list! We absolutely love the parties, we are a party of 5 and all Disney Adults, even though my 3 are still kids! HAHAH!! So yes, the 500 and change total for 5 party tickets x 2 since we are doing 2 parties was hard to swallow but it is always worth it to us. We love the smaller crowd, the little extras and being able to ride all we want without having to wait for long. We ALWAYS do either a halloween party or a Christmas party, because we enjoy them that much. This year we are doing one before our cruise and one after and on both party days we do not do any other park, we make it a resort lounging day and since we are rope droppers to park closers, we sleep in a bit on party days too!

Thanks for your perspective. I think I'm probably going to cave and get the tickets. My youngest is 6 (7 at the time of our trip), and he will probably be in awe of the experience. My mother thinks I'm crazy to spend more when I already purchased regular park tickets. Your right about making it a resort lounging day. I'll probably take the kids into EPCOT for there favorite rides in the morning and spend the rest of the day by the pool if its warm enough since we are staying at the Beach Club. Never been in December. I'm hoping for some beautiful weather.

Sorry you didn't get your ADRs. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. You should try Touring Plans search engine to look up the ADRs that you missed. I think it looks it up every five minutes or so. If they find an open spot, you are notified either by text or email. I heard it works for some people.

ASMU 12/16 to 12/24. Everything else is the same. We moved for free dining and added a day.

I got everything we wanted yesterday on ADRS including Be our Guest and the Bon Voyage breakfast! So happy to have them done. Just waiting on the candlelight processional to open up and hope I don't miss it as I work full time and some days forget to check the boards.

My stepmom and I booked our dining reservations about a week ago. We got most of what we wanted, including a 5 pm Ohana reservation on a Friday! We are still looking for a 8 am BOG reservation for Sunday 12/10. Also looking for an Akershus dinner reservation for Wednesday 12/13. And like many others, we are patiently waiting for the ROL dining packages to come out. Best of luck to everyone that is on the lookout for a specific reservation. I'm sure things will start to open up and cancellations will pop up.

Those are such wonderful ages for the parties!!! We've been taking our kids since they were all still in the womb! LOL! Each went as young as 2 months and I think we have created Disney Addicts but of course they don't like to tour the parks the same way we do, it's amazing watch them develop their own ways of 'doing Disney' when we ask their opinions on things!! You will have a wonderful time and I know what you mean about people thinking you are crazy when they find out how much you spend!! When my parents used to join us, I would just tell them the party tickets were included in our stay, otherwise they would not be happy with how much 'extra' we were spending! LOL

I just double checked it and I thought I put in what you said? I have you at the Contemporary as BLT (Bay Lake Towers) and TPV (Theme Park View)? I went ahead and added Contemporary there for you as well.

Oh nooo!!! How frustrating that has to be! Just keep checking, especially around the Paid in full dates come up, many will cancel their dining plans but some will even cancel whole trips, so there is still a chance! This is also a chance to try something new, maybe you can find something that never really piqued your interest before?

I have a family travelling with us that did not believe me about being up to reserve EARLY (5am central time) and she didn't do it, then I didn't see her for a week and finally found out, I went ahead and got on her app at that time and we were able to get at least half of the things she wanted and this was like 1pm. So try different times too, because people may do it on their lunch breaks, right after work and what not.
