So Tiki Room is back up. Looks awful outside though but that’s personal opinion. The ramp really needed to be themed better.

Your turn WOC and Matterhorn!

Hi! We just booked a quick little trip from Dec 8-10 at the Paradise Pier hotel. We have never stayed there before so it will be the first time for us and we haven't been when there have been Christmas decorations up for years and years. We are super excited!! Do they have Christmas parties ever at DL? Or is that just a WDW thing? Thanks guys! Hope to see you in the parks!!

Thanks, I missed that one. I like to keep pretending I’ve made my peace with WOC most likely not being run on our trip but then a tiny bit of me still keeps hoping. I think if we’ve heard nothing by end of October it’s definitely not going to happen.

What are some of your MUST HAVE treats during the holidays? We always get churros and a Dole Whip but are there any special holiday treats we should try? We will be having dinner at Goofy’s and a late lunch at Blue Bayou and I’m assuming both may have Christmas desserts available.
Last year Plaza Inn had a yule log cake that was delicious, I hope they have it again this year. French Market also had a praline cheesecake that was really good.

SAME. I’ve made my peace but the tiny sliver of hope is there...

my first DL trip will be Jan 6 and 7th. Appears Christmas will be up thru Sun 6th and then Monday back to normal. How crazy will Sunday be? I'm hoping I can get most of the parks done in 2 days.

I am guessing they do not know the hours of DCA the first week of December. Except for Monday, the restaurants of DCA only show lunch available. Guessing not doing dinner ressies until they figure out what time the park is gonna close

    Woot woot..

    Whatcha get?
Cafe Orleans for our first lunch day trip. Bit of a tradition now! Finally decided we will do Chefs Counter at Napa Rose this time after doing the standard dining reservation for it last year. Just trying to catch them with the time difference from the UK!

My guess is that Sunday, Jan. 6th will be a very busy day. That is the first day that Signature and Deluxe passes are allowed back into the parks after the holiday break and, as you noted, it is the last day those passholders can see the holiday decorations. The lower 2 passes will be allowed back into the parks on Monday, Jan. 7th -- so it may get very busy in the later afternoon into the evening.

Joining in...we were supposed to go next March, but the trip just got moved up and now we're going in November! So excited to see all the Christmas and holiday things. It's been a bucket list item to see Disney at Christmas time!
