So, if we go to DL first, and then jump over to DCA. We will be able to get back into DL even it hit capacity? is that correct?

We were there the 27-31 last year. think it hit capacity one day maybe the 26 or 27. It is usually for a few hours i think. But no matter what capacity level it is at it always feels extremely crowded. What worked for us is using EMH everyday. went back to the hotel around 2-4 then back for other rides we had MP for or parades or fantasmic and such. We were able to do al we wanted on that trip even though it was packed. Just PLAN and then plan for you plan to not work out.

were the crowds 10/10 everyday when you went? were you able to park-hop or did DL reach capacity?

It was 10/10. They hit capacity everyday. But we were able to still park hop without problems. There are different levels of capacity closures. The first is not admiting new guests. Always scan into disneyland Park first.

Christmas Parade Dining options—help please. If the parade times are 3:30 and 6pm, dining options for the package at Plaza Inn are 2:30, 3, 3:30 and 4pm. I would like the 3:30 parade viewing. Which dining time do I choose?

All the dining packages 2-4pm will choose the second parade viewing. No option for earlier dining than 2pm or for first parade (at least that’s what the CM on dining line said)

December 8-13 for us. Staying close at Desert Inn. It's been years since we've been there for the holidays. Can't wait for Small World!

What are some of your MUST HAVE treats during the holidays? We always get churros and a Dole Whip but are there any special holiday treats we should try? We will be having dinner at Goofy’s and a late lunch at Blue Bayou and I’m assuming both may have Christmas desserts available.

YOU GUYS if you look at Disneyland's published schedule for Friday Nov 16 (last day they have published), you will see that the Matterhorn is NO LONGER ON THE REFURB SCHEDULE! I realize this could change, but that's good right? That means Disney's at least projecting their refurb will be done by that day... which happens to be the last day of my upcoming trip.

So we are going Friday 11/30-Friday 12/7. Thinking 2 full days at each park without park hopper will be good. Was thinking saturday CA, Sunday fun day at hotel, Thursday DL. Can't decide what park to go on Mon, Tues, Wed. The crowd calendar's say Tuesday is better for DL but there are more hours on Monday.

Party of 5 we will be visiting Dec 10 - 13th. Haven't been to the park in 20 years so super excited!

I’d reconsider. Sunday’s can be a great day in the parks. I’d take a break Monday.
