NOW A TR: Just a little Trip for Two

The Cm Directing Traffic in front of us says you only get wet when the wind is blowing a certain way so you had kinder winds lol

What an up and down day. The story of the kid seems like a repeat of something I read on here a month ago.

Jared had to leave, he finally smiled and posed.

Day 3:
We woke up bright and early at 6 am to do our magic morning on Thursday. We ate muffins at the hotel to tide us over to breakfast and were out the door by 6:40 and in the park by 7 yay!

We started with the fantasy land dark rides Peter Pan of course already had a wait so we decided to do the others first and then come back to it starting with Mr. Toad

Followed by Pinocchio

We headed to Snow White Next but there was a CM there and she told us it wouldnt be open till after magic Morning Technical Problems so we headed over to Peter pan

Next I wanted to do the Tea cups but Jared and his aversion to spinning did not so rode and he took my picture

After my cup of tea (Jared doesnt care for Tea any how) We decided to head over to Alice but it had a 40 minute wait during a magic morning I checked my watch to see if it was 8 yet and it was only 7:45, we decided to do the Matterhorn in stead one of Jared favorites. His foot was hurting him pretty bad at this point I was hoping this would cheer him up unfortunately the CM wouldn't give us our own car so I could sit in the front and him the back they made us squeeze in together I don't know why the line wasn't long at all and being squished always makes the ride less fun. We rode Fantasy land side because it was a way shorter line then Tommrow land and we thought wed be doing it again later ....we were wrong lol

Next up I wanted to do space mountain Jared didn't he thought it might make him sick like it did last time so he sat at a table and checked his email while I rode space mountain

After my ride through space we had time for one more ride before our 9 o clock reservation at carnation cafe so we headed over to Captain EO a first for both of us

We didnt much care for it other then to think its pure 80s ness was hilarious. Im hopeing something shiney and new will be coming soon

Day 3:
After that it was off to a yummy breakfast at carnation cafe much to Jared's relief as he was starving lol

Jared ordered the Oscar special and I had a Mickey Waffle with strawberrys sooo yummy!

Oscar came over to our table and asked how our food was he was very nice even though he didnt stay to long

After breakfast Jareds foot seemed to be feeling better which was good for me lol and we decided to take a cruise around the world

I have to go and get ready for work now Ill hopefully have more TR for you tomorrow hope you enjoyed the first part of day 3!

I almost fell off my chair when you said Alice had a 40 min wait during MM!!! That's crazy!!!! I also find it weird that the CM's didn't let you have your own car on the Matterhorn.....very strange!

Love Carnation Cafe breakfast!! I always get Oscar's Choice.....delicious!!! Oscar told us the recipe for the potatoes.....of course I forgot it by the time we left....but we were able to find it online & for the most part, it sounded right.

I loved it too I'm going to try and go back again on my next trip it was super delicious and Oscar was really nice. The potatoes are excellent you can see in the picture I stole some of Jared's lol

Day 3:
After small world we headed back into fantasy land, we started with Snow white since it had opened while we ate breakfast

We passed The Tangled Meet and greet I really enjoyed this movie and wanted to meet Flynn Ryder but the wait was insanely long the whole time we were there so we never got around to it. Here I am with the tower regardless

After snow white we went to casey jr but it was a half hour and then we thought about doing alice but it was still at 40 so we thought wed walk through adventure land and snag an indy fastpass and head over to Haunted Mansion which had no wait, unfortunately Indy was down but they said it should be up later

We then decided it was time to get wet again and headed over to splash mountian where I had to sit in the front I got soaked of course lol

After getting soaked we wanted to ride whinnie the pooh but first time for a smakeral of something sweet. We stopped by poohs corner Jared got what was similar to a tigger tail but had dark chocolate on it

and I got this

Which was not what I ordered lol. I told Jared I wanted a peanut butter and chocolate chunk cookie from the baked goods side of the counter and then I went off to look around the shop. What Jared ordered was the peanut butter cookie right after he order his chocolate marsh mellow from the candy side so what I got was a chocolate covered peanut butter patty with a cookie inside it was pretty good any way though I like most anything which includes chocolate and peanut butter lol

After we dried off a bit and at our sweets we went for a ride on whinnie the pooh where I discovered that if you've never seen the country bears the piece of them left behind doesn't make so much sense lol I pointed them out to Jared and after the ride he was like whats with the moose?

We wanted to try and fast pass Indy again so we walked toward adventure land and stopped for pirates again

it amuses me that you can see me in his glasses lol

Thats all for tonight its sleepy time more tomorrow of course!

Sorry I didnt post any more yesterday it was Jareds Official birthday and we were celebrating

Day 3:
When we were finished with pirates we headed over to Indi and were able to get a fast pass then we headed over to the tiki room where I enjoyed a Dole whip Jared doesnt like pineapple so more for me

Jungle Cruise was up again next

Our last adventure land attraction before Indy was Tarzans tree house

This one looks like the Cheetah is going to eat Jareds head lol

Our Fast passes still werent up for a little while so we decided to hop the train over to tomorrow land

When we arrived in Tomorrow land we went straight to buzz as it was the only attraction we hadnt done yet

Jared kicked my butt again lol

then it was back on the train and over to Indi

Our adventures had made us hungry not to mention jareds foot was getting super sore again so it was off to the Hungry Bear for lunch

Jared ordered a Chili burger and I ordered a regular cheese burger unfortunatly both with sweet potato fries, they are ok but I really miss regular fries

Thats all for now I have to decorate a cake for Jareds second party last night was with his grandpa who has the same birthday and family tonight with friends

It is in between Pirates of the Caribbean and The Haunted Mansion that's what makes it the cross roads its between the last attraction Walt worked on and the first one they worked on after he passed.

Day 3:
After Lunch Jareds foot was really bothering him and we had gotten so much done already we decided to slow down a little. We went for a ride on the Mark Twain here are some pictures from the boat

I had never noticed the sound effects at Mike Finks Cabin it was pretty cool

Soon our journey on the rivers of america was over and we decided to take a stroll down main street and visit Mr. Lincoln

After the Lincoln show Jared still wanted more sitting and I wanted to go shopping so he sat on a bench out side the new Mary Blair exhibit. While I explored the exhibit and went shopping on main street. After a quick stop at the locker to stow my new treasures we hoped the train over to Toon town with the intention of riding roger rabbit and visiting mickey. Accept Mickey wasnt home and Roger Rabbit was 40 mins and fast pass was down so we took so pictures around the area instead

Jared is a professional photographer and graphic designer for Precision engine parts so it was fitting he visit the camera store lol

We left toon town with out any real direction as we walked we noticed a lot of people sitting on the curb. The conversation went a little like this
Sid: what time is it
Jared: about a quater till six
Sid: *notices a great seat against some fenceing a little ways off the ground" come over here
Sid: Lets sit
Jared: Oh are we sitting
Sid: yes were going to watch the new parade
Jared: theres a new Parade?
Sid: Yeah it goes by at 6:30 today
Jared: yay for more sitting

Anyway we had great seats and while we were waiting we decided to have ice cream yummy I had a mickey Ice cream bar and Jared had an Ice cream sandwhich

Day 3:
The Soundsational Parade was actually pretty good and Im not really a parade person, the floats were colorful and diverse and it was WAY better IMHO then celebrate a street party here are the pictures

After the parade it was off for more sitting to wait for the fireworks lol well first we ran to the locker to get our jackets then Jared sat and waited while I went for a pretzal and a cherry coke...but there wasnt any cherry coke so it was regular coke

Something pretty disturbing happened while we were waiting to see the fireworks a mom came and sat behind us she was wearing high heels then after she sat down and spread somethings out for her family she took off her shoes which I think is kind of oogy to begin with but then I noticed her feet were all bloody she really needed to visit first aide and at the very least not have her open sores so close to me. I mean I dont mean to be a snob but you never know what sort of disease is carried in blood. I thought maybe when her party came shed go to first aide there was plenty of time but she never did
Aside that we had great seats for the fireworks also Magical was pretty good but nothing beats remember so I feel a little spoiled lol.

That was the end of Day 3 the parks closed at 9 that night for grad night and the fireworks were at 8:40 so we left right after and went back to the hotel for some sleepy time.

Sorry Jared was having problems with his foot.....makes running around DL a bit difficult!

I'm excited to see the new parade....I love a good parade!! I miss the Parade of Dreams.....THAT was a GOOD parade!

Back to the fountain......I'm sure I've seen it...but really can't remember it even with knowing where it is......weird huh? (my brain is definitely fryed....heavy sigh) It will be on my agenda to locate next trip!
