Going to disney on the 28th, and staying until dec 5th. I really need to find a park buddy, and I'm running out of time. You can find me on facebook if you are interested, and I dont care wether you are a he or she, but I prefer she. IM 14-going with my family-2 brothers, 1 sister, and parents. And, Im allowed to do the go out by myself thing.

It's raining this morning in not so sunny California so guess what I get to do today? I get to spend a couple hours at a Worldmark sales presentation, courtesy of DH, and then come in and do laundry. Not one of our best planned days. I do hope to salvage a bit of it this evening and make it to the park for a few hours of Disney magic.
Speaking of magic... we did WOC last night and it was indeed impressive! The wait was not all that bad, we had a good view where even DD could see and didn't encounter any squatters trying to move into our space.

Hello, yesterday returned from DLR, good week, except Friday was cloudy and cold, on Saturday we came back it was raining.

We got back from our trip this past Friday and I already feel the post-Disney blues. We got annual passes this time so I have a bunch of other trips to look forward to in the coming year, but this trip was extra special and we planned it for so long, that it feels strange for it to be over already.

MarieZP, I hope your daughter feels better! Can't wait to hear your trip report of your entire stay!

We got back from our trip this past Friday and I already feel the post-Disney blues.

Well back to the real world tomorrow, we got back late Friday night, so I feel your pain. My family kept us running for all 5 days. There was eight of us on this trip, 4 adults and 4 kids.

Our next trip will be much more relaxing as it's just the two of us.

We had perfect weather and the lines weren't bad. We enjoyed CA Adventure park the most. It was just the right size and we enjoyed so many of the things there. Disneyland was a little busier and the lines were longer. We ended up not getting to ride a portion of the rides we wanted to because we were just too tired to wait it out (it was our last day and we were pooped). We mostly ate outside the park and carried snacks and we ended up way under budget for food that way. Our hotel was ok. It ended up being further from the park than I realized, and it was much smaller than it appeared on their website. But we didn't spend much time there anyway, so it was ok. Even though it's set right outside CA Adventure - the gates are down the street quite a ways. We didn't know that going in. But we ended up having a 7-11 right on the corner where we bought our water in the morning, and picked up pop at night to have with our supper in the hotel. All in all I'd say we had a successful trip!

I get a day's head start. DH suprised me late last night with "Let's go tomorrow after your done packing". So on the net last night and booked a one night stay at the Motel 6 (two queen) on Ketella for $53. I called Disney Travel this morning and aske how to upgrade our tickets from a 3 day hopper to a 4 day hopper. The lady on the phone said no problem, go to the Disney Travel store near DLH and pay the difference (only $30 total) and remember to bring my reservation number. We plan to me in the land by dinner time.

Here in Anaheim right now...arrived Saturday afternoon. This is our fourth year of visiting the DLR a few days before Thanksgiving (now a family tradition). We are staying at the Hojo!

Yesterday (Sunday) turned out to be a wonderful day! In the morning, the kids insisted that I stop by City Hall to pick up a pin for for my birthday. My daughter asked the CM for a pin to give to me and not only did she give our whole family pins to wear, she gave us a special voucher for the kids to "buy" me a stuffed toy for my birthday! They were so excited to shop for a birthday gift for me.

The weather was beautiful (no rain the whole time) and crowds were pretty light for this time of year. This morning (Monday) looks like it will be another beautiful day. Cool, but clear and sunny! Hopefully the light rain they're forcasting for Tuesday is nothing more than a sprinkle or two, but hey, bring it on...a rainy day at DLR is better than a sunny day at work!

We'll be off to head over to the parks soon!

Waiting this morning to see how my DD feels. Lordy, I hope we get to go to the park today. 2 days staying in the room and I am really getting pretty restless. I can hear the park calling my name! Here's hoping Denney's chicken noodle soup worked some magic last night.

its official!!....I AM ON VACATION!! plane leaves denver at 8:45 am

16 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our trip was AMAZING the crowds were so light the longest ride we waited for was Toy Story Mania. Space Mountain was no more than a 20 minute wait most of the time rendering fast passes useless. It was so awesome. Hojo was great, the beds were so comfy and even though we got there at noon they allowed us to check in and gave us a room right away.

Our plane leaves at 9:50am tomorrow morning...
Relaxing witha glass of wine right now... I'm packed, just gotta drop the dpgs at the kennel in the morning, then off to the airport!
