Aannnd I choked on my rice, thank you very much.

    :rotfl2::rotfl:

Yep, totally planned that. Just didn't know it yet!

Haha! I had to go edit something before reading your quotes, and as I was scrolling back up my computer froze on that exact picture and I laughed cause I really didn't pay much attention!

    Barely!

The share option on flickr is a little tedious, unless i'm using it wrong. And in the photos, is has a footer with my name and 'Flickr' so I have to delete those from the link before I post it. Other than that (and me needing to resize!) so far, so good!
    Yep!

    :laughing:Monty Python!

I did, I'm the one that showed him how to do that! He gets his goofiness from me, I'd like to believe. Sorry no photographic evidence though. Next time!

    Right?! :lmao:

    Oooh, no thanks!

    You're welcome. Heimlich not included.

Do you delete that by editing in the DIS? or do you import to photoshop somehow? Or?

    I'll hold you to that.

Glad you're finishing this TR! Love the big pictures. Your DS's jacket is so cute! A long day for sure but fun. Love seeing the holiday decorations - my DH and I will be there Dec. 2-9 - can't wait!

I use Google Photos. Seems to work find by copying the link address for the photo and then pasting it into the photo thingy here. I pay maybe $5-$10 a year for photo storage.

    Does he know now? :confused3

They should just make this parade 20 dragon floats.

    I'm with you, kid.

Way to take one for the team, Dad!

    Nice shot there.

    Great day all around :)

Can’t beat that parade view. I really like the floats on that one but the music drives me crazy

Boo on the extra long wait for dinner. Glad you still made it to the fireworks. Awesome about the short waits for rides at the end. That’s always the best!

    Alicia,

Score on the parade mojo! Nice timing, even with Cal waking up not too terribly long before!

Mmmm, never eaten at the Plaza, but it sure looks great! Might have to try that someday!

Lots of lovely photos in this update. Glad you made it to the fireworks even if a little late. :)

Wow... well, that worked out quite nicely!

I mean, really, for walking up just before the parade, that is an awesome spot!

::yes:: Those balloons aren't cheap! Gotta get your money's worth out of it!

::yes:: it's a great parade, but it is just hard to make it work at that time of day.

    Wow!

    :thumbsup2

:headache: That sucks. I mean, I get it if I check in early that I might possibly still have to wait until my ADR time. But if they already know they're running that far behind, the least they could do is let you know.

Aw, DM, you photobombed the castle!

::yes:: Can't resist ice cream when you're at the Plaza!

Wow, cutting it close! At least it wasn't one of those times where they won't let you scan in for a show if you aren't there 10 minutes early or whatever it is.

Don't thank me. I'm sure I stole it from somewhere else.

:faint: Better get some more luggage. Or a big UPS box.

So happy to see you back, Alicia.
Have been absent myself for quite a while, so it was a great surprise to see your video and the updates. pixiedust:

Something about Aulani really draws the littles back! Izzy keeps talking about returning. Love that Calvin drew a map!

I started using SmugMug. Seems to work fine. I haven't been real active lately, so not super used to it yet. Still have to move all my old photos, which sounds like a nightmare. But I like it so far!

Ha, I like your thinking! :thumbsup2

Ugh, I can see the same thing happening to us! Izzy loves dancing...but does she love it as much as popcorn?! popcorn::

Oh, wow, that is an awful wait!! :sad1:

So glad to see you back on here again! :goodvibes

Actually as it turns out it's been quite chilly! Nice change from the 106 degree temps we had the day before we left! However, I didn't pack for chilly weather, but that's OK, it's been a long long time since I've been slightly cold and I'm enjoying it!

That should be great for you all! I'm sure you'll have a blast!

We almost had an option like that today (longer wait though) and I thought, "Nah, I saw Alicia's pictures and I'd rather do my FP+s" and then I did twice on 7DMT and was like, "I don't want to wait another 30 minutes to ride PP, it's going to rain, let's go home!" :rotfl2:

    I can totally understand that!

Totally get that, I would be like, "Feed me, Seymour!"

I hate that, why can't they stay on time with ADRs? Don't make so many if you can't keep up!

that looks so good. I didn't eat enough for dinner tonight and I'm considering my limited options in the Villa for what I can fix up for a snack!

That's cool, glad you got such a good view!

Nice that you could get on so many rides at the end of the night. I don't know how you have the energy! I guess you are still young!

That is quite a full day! Lots going on and a long time in the park! Good for you guys!

Very odd question, but is that your foot in the picture. If so I totally have the same shoes!

Love all your pics. You guys definite had a great viewing spot.

What a great picture. Love how the whole family is in it, balloon and all.

    Who isn't?

Its 50 degrees and pouring rain here. I need this NOW!

Glad you got to experience Wishes one last time!

You completely look like Princess Jasmine on the carpets!

Soooo....the holidays happened. That's all I have to say about that guys :rolleyes1:rotfl2:

I'm pretty sure I mentioned it, but just in case I didn't, the four of us we went to WDW Dec 31 - Jan 7 with my mom, FIL and MIL and stayed in a 2 BR at AKV Kidani Village. We got back this past Sunday. The first 3 days were great, but COLD, rainy and windy. DS was fun (but quick), AK was amazing, Epcot was the park we rode the most rides at! Then Thursday came and it just completely unraveled. MK was seriously the worst i've ever seen it at any park. It took us 15 minutes to get across the walkway from Pinocchio Village Haus exit to Peter Pan for our FP. Everyone was very unhappy and not willing to work with one another to help people get across and there was no CM in sight. I overheard a family behind me say that crowds weren't even like this on NYE! :earseek:FIL got into an argument with someone about touching (but everyone was touching everyone! :crowded::crowded::crowded:) We ended up leaving a couple hours after, it was pretty much a waste of a ticket. We stayed a grand total of 4 hours at MK. Friday at 2:30am, Quentin woke up crying with a fever and a gross cough (croup) He needed to get care. DH called the front desk and told us that Centra Care opened at 8am and a shuttle could come pick us up. We ended up getting there at 9am and left at 2:30pm. Croup, positive for the flu and 102.5 fever. No park. Last park day, Saturday morning, right as we were approaching the bag check, Calvin threw up in the double stroller we rented. He was burning up. Got right back on the bus back home. No park. FiL called me around 3pm that afternoon and asked if I wanted to take his place at Epcot since MIL and DM were shopping. Of course I took him up on his offer! I didn't get there until 5pm because of the bus. When I got there and met up with the girls I mentioned that we had an ADR at Ale & Compass and they made the suggestion of just me and DH going to it since our past few days had been stuck in the room. Poor DH only got to use his ticket to pass on through Epcot to get to the Yacht Club. Calvin continued to throw up through that day and right as we were getting into our Mears taxi to the airport Sunday morning. No more throwing up on the plane. Landed in Burbank, got in our car, Q threw up and continued through the next day. Everyone's healthy now though! :lmao:

I'm generally a positive person and hate reflecting on things that I can't change. The same with DH. Weather was bad, kids got sick. Nothing we could control. But we were disappointed. It sucks spending months trying to create this perfect trip (Q's and my in-laws first time!) get FP's, ADR's. DH actually took the reins on this one and made the best spreadsheet, constantly checked for better ADR's every day he got home from work. He was awesome! DH and I had three main goals of this trip: FoP, Rivers of Light and Happily Ever After. Didn't do any of them. This trip just wasn't what we were hoping for.

The past few days we were just playing around with the idea of going back, just the four of us, in October for the F&W festival, but we only have 88 points left, not enough with the kids and couldn't borrow. (240 were spent on the 2BR!) DH was talking about going to Vegas with his friend in March for the first weekend of the NCAA tournament. And I made a comment about me going solo to WDW during his Spring break since we had enough for maybe 4 nights in a studio....

I'm not sure how it happened, it was all a whirlwind, but i'm now booked one night at Jambo, 2 nights at OKW and one night at SSR for Sunday, March 25 - Thurs March 29, 2018! :hyper::hyper::hyper::hyper: party: :cool1::cheer2::banana::bounce::jumping1::jumping2::jumping3::Pinkbounc:wizard: I realize this is during Spring Break and I realize how insane it will be. But it's also just me. No strollers. No children. No other people I need to wake up and rush. JUST. ME!!!! My mission: FoP, Rivers of Light, HEA and the Hangar Bar! It will happen. And if more drinks and shopping happen along the way, then so be it:laughing:

DH and I are both excited for our split trips, he's already planning his and i'm working on the deets for mine! Also, depending on funds and if *cough cough* someone is willing to watch both our children, he may join me for the last two nights. Cause honestly, he wants a redo of WDW too! So we shall see.

I may throw in some pics I got from the first couple of days of this past trip cause really I don't have much to make a TR with. And seriously, you know it's not a good trip when DH isn't able to get any Photopass Pictures, right!? Debating about finishing this 2016 :-)eek:) trip and Aulani. But I'm really going to do a solo TR.

    Oh. My. Gosh.

    :headache:

I'm glad you got a few good days in at the beginning of your trip. But holy moly that is a lot of bad stuff to happen in one trip! I'm so sorry the kids got so sick. You must have been so stressed out and disappointed. Yes, you definitely need a do-over! A solo trip sounds fantastic!

    Welcome back!

So sorry to hear that your little men got sick on your trip that you all planned out so perfectly. What a nightmare with all the crowds and the cold.
But glad that you get to go on another trip and we are going to hear all about it. Would have wished for you to come in August and join us all (big group of friends .......)

Well, that just sounded horrific! Not fun. AT. ALL!

But, there's a bright horizon and a chance to have it be better, right?

Solo' s a lot of fun and definitely different than going with young kids! You'll love it!

Oh my goodness :guilty: I’m so glad you were able to have some good days there in the beginning but that is so sad how things unraveled. Poor boys getting sick :( thank goodness they’re feeling better now. Sounds like Disney was helpful with getting you to the urgent care, that was awesome. Not awesome you were there for so long but it sounds like it was the best it could have been.

Awesome about your solo trip!!!!!! You definitely need a redo! party: party: party: and it’ll be close enough you can celebrate your birthday too :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
