Can you enroll in your spouse’s coverage or at least add your dd to your spouse’s plan? I had thought when you leave a job, the insurance is good till the end of the month? When I had quit my job a few years ago, my last day was near the beginning of the month, but I had insurance till the end of the month. I would check your state laws to make sure your employer isn’t giving you the wrong info.

The woman in HR told me that our insurance gets stopped the day we end our employment.

I wold call the insurance company, NOT HR.
