Whew! I finally caught up. You're all so busy posting the finish line just keeps moving as I read.
Love, love, love this! Thanks for sharing! You're making me a bit jealous because we were there for a couple of days last summer and DH and I already want to go back. Love that summer sunlight at night, too!
If you call them ponies, your tour guide will tell you that it's not ok to call them that. They are purebred Icelandic horses and they intend to keep them that way.
Yep! Thanks for the explanation. Our tour guide told us the same info, and then we noticed that in the scene where Brianne & Podric find the Hound and Arya they even mention how their horses "mysteriously" disappeared in the night, so they have to travel on foot.
Yep. Did it on DH's Biz Plat - knocked out most of the MSR with one Plastiq check (also not for a mortgage).
Thanks for the info! I've been in that lounge before but we were flying J in AF so didn't have any issues getting in. DD will be flying AF next week, but in economy, so I'm hoping they will let her in with her Plat/PP cards. What kind of schedule do they have for the PP people? She's taking a night flight out.
Hello from Iceland! Trying to skim so I don’t come back to 500 pages, lol.
Taken from our vacation rental on a horse farm at 10:30 pm:

Are those the pony-sized horses?! They’re about as cute as a highland cow!

Fun facts I learned in Iceland a couple of years ago. The pony sized horses are actually horses. Calling them a pony will get you a lecture on their history and importance to the country. Learned that the hard way. Iceland is Uber strict regarding their Icelandic horses and do not allow other breeds to be imported. Icelandic horses carry virtually no diseases. If an Icelandic horse is exported it is never allowed back in the country. They have 5 gaits and we got to experience their unique gait which is unlike anything Ive ever experienced riding a horse.
Forced perspective needed to be utilized whenever Clegaine was riding a horse during Game of Thrones filming in Iceland because his feet touch the ground while straddled. LOL

Is it ok to use Plastiq with Amex for MSR or is it better to avoid during the MSR period? This is not for mortgage payment.

Our flight out of SFO, we went to the Air France/KLM lounge. They had a summer schedule for PP. We were there at 1 pm, the next time was 3:30, but they let us in since it was pretty empty. We made a lunch of bread, cheese, cold cuts, croissants, chips/salsa, and cookies, lol. They had canned soda but no bottled water.
