I think some hotels will accept packages on behalf of guests if you're staying anywhere the night before. Though I don't know about food.

Keep in mind, hotels may charge a fee based on the weight of the package ie $5 for 1-5#, $10 for 6-15#. The mid-level hotels usually do not but full service ie Marriott do charge handling fee.
