The DH of the other family is apparently getting his passport back (and visa for his subsequent trip to China!) by 5 pm tomorrow so YAHOOO!!!! All coming together now.

Holy Cow ... It sure is quiet here. I miss my two blond girls already!!! Jeanne called at 1 AM to say they finally landed and Lily was off to see her father. Apparently on the plane Jeanne asked Lily if she was excited to see Dada and she said "No Dada, I want Pop-Pop and Mickey". Made Bob feel like a big deal to be up there with Mickey. She also calls Pop-Pop the "Kissing Monster".

Looking forward to meeting up with all the guests that are there now and coming in soon on Sunday and Monday before I head off to Vegas to help set up Jeanne's classroom on Tuesday.

Thanks to help from our awesome Nanette I was able to book our FP+ reservations and got awesome times!!! However I can't seem to get them into our Touring Plans... That sucks royally since I worked so hard on them. Oh well, I'll make use of the 6 hr layover tomorrow I guess!!!! I got a noon FP for TSMM. Since we didn't get to ride that at all last trip for various reasons that I can't recall right now (LOL) that is awesome.

Heart attack tonight - I called our airline to confirm checkin times because our first leg is domestic. They told me that DD (who is flying out of an airport in my sister's hometown out west) has to go to US departures, and for my sister to go through security to accompany her she would need her passport. First that will blow the surprise (we are going to tell both kids together in the airport in Toronto when we all reunite) and second my sister's passport is expired!!!! Plus they have to be at the airport 2 hours pre-flight. I called back to see if maybe they could UN-link her reservation and got an unfriendly person but who told me that the first person was WRONG and my sister only needed a drivers license and they can go to domestic departures. But it took me almost 2 hours to get to the bottom of it. I had to work late to get ready as well. So bottom line is that I haven't packed a THING for myself or DS, I got home at 10 pm and tomorrow morning will be interesting!!!!! Oh well, I figure all I really need is my passport, my phone and my Visa. I'm not going to the moon, right? Things CAN be purchased in airports and Disney World!!!! LOL. Big problem with surprise trips and suspicious pokey boys... You can't pack in advance!!!

Bringing my laptop this trip so hopefully I'll do some live posts so you guys can enjoy them like I've enjoyed yours!

And Hubdave, SO happy that your got DDs bunny back!!! That's amazing service!!!!

Oh my!!! Whew. So glad you got that all worked out. I think the fact you have made it this far with it being a surprise is incredible!

Wow! Just checking in and there are so many pages I missed. Not sure how everyone finds the time to check in on vacation? We have been leaving the room sometimes as early as 7 a.m. and stayed for Illuminations the last two evenings. By the time I get everyone ready for and in bed, I am exhausted.

We are having a fabulous trip this time! Loved Animal Kingdom Lodge, but the while family agreed, when we walk into the Beach Club, it just feels like home. We tried quite a few new things this time, like Sanaa and I got my DD to finally go on Expedition Everest, which she loved. I have used quite a few tips found on this board, including the drawstring backpack Dee suggested with the zip locks for ponchos and later wet items. It poured on us the other day, but stopped raining later in the day. It was great to toss wet items in the ziplock. Thanks for the tip Dee!

Tomorrow, we might take the girls to the first Fantasmic show. Hoping to make it to SAB tomorrow or Saturday, and then see Teena on Sunday. I'll try to check in again. Hope everyone here now is having as much fun as us!

But aren't you jealous that Banana Bunny got to spend more time at Disney World than you did?

OMG I laughed so hard at this!! That Banana Bunny is a conniving little bugger! What would be really fun is if some of the Disney Characters wrote to Banana bunny and reminisced about their adventures during the extended stay so that DD could read it. It would have to be written by some one that knows about Banana Bunny and DD relationship so that the characters could reference things that would be known about Bunny and DD....

So we are t minus 15 days and Dh asks if we can switch to poly. I have been driving myself crazy with this whole mb thing and now this. I was really looking forward to being so close to Epcot and having a sunken treasure or two and meeting Teena. Now I don't know what to do. I do like the poly. I guys we will see what tomorrow brings. Sweet dreams everyone.

When I sign on to the Disney website, a window pops up and says "Get Ready to Experience My Magic" Customize your MagicBands Now...does this mean, I too can try out the wrist band? Should I start customizing or wait for an email? What's a gal to do?

I wouldn't wait for the email. I don't arrive at YC till Tuesday so I won't know till then if I actually get my magicbands. I customised them and I've made all my FP+ reservations because it appeared on the app, but I never got the email inviting me. However, I did get an email to say they've been shipped to resort so fingers crossed I'll get them.

We are flying Virgin out of Manchester. It's booked through a Florida TA specialist and direct flights are scarey at just under £1kpp. I really don't think there will be any direct bargains out there for summer next year. We wanted to do Ncl to San but Thomson wanted even more silly money. Good job we have 3 weeks to get best value out of our ££. 9 nights IDrive including Discovery Cove and 12 nights Yacht Club. Our original booking was for POFQ and came in at £6k but then I had a 'moment' and we changed to Yacht.

We check in on September 26th and I cannot wait! I don't think I go more than 3 hours without thinking about the relaxation to come at the BC. Anyone else this obsessive too??

The only hiccup? DH just told me yesterday that his boss (who I actually really like) and his fiancée and 2 other couples from work (that I've never met) are coming down on our dates and want to stay at BC. I foresee a lot of work conversations.... Hoping they'll all get annoyed spending much of the day standing in character lines .

Hi everyone!!! I've been catching up and finally I can help Dee out. I just read about Turner Drugs and was checking out pricing, so here you go...

soda (coke, diet coke, pepsi, diet pepsi, mt. dew & sprite) 12 pack, 12 oz cans are $4.99 each.

water: Nestle, 1/2 liter bottles, 32 bottles (case) $7.99 or 6 pack $2.49 or Crystal Geyser, 1/2 litter bottles 24 bottles (case) $6.99 or 6 pk $2.19.

Delivery fee is $7.50 to all Disney Resorts including Swan and Dolphin. If your hotel is not on the list it's $10 to $15 depending on location.

It also states to call for delivery fees (407) 828-8125 and all online orders are $7.50.

The last part is slightly confusing, but I think it's safe to say if your staying onsite it's only $7.50 with no minimum $ amount needed and since they deliver to all resorts for the yc/bc/bcv it should go directly to that resort not the convention center. Hope this helps.

Here is what we learned yesterday about September guests and Fast Pass Plus/Magic Bands:

It looks like the Beach Club Resort and Yacht Club Resort will both be involved in the testing. Nannette was also able to book FP+ experiences for her September BCV stay.

May be some issues with booking FP+ for AP guests- try calling tech support if you are having issues (and be prepared to spend a lot of time as they try to fix the issue)

If the process is like it was in August, guests won't get emails until about 17 days before their trip, but can still update their FP+ preferences by going in to their My Disney Experience accounts.

Unclear whether Magic Bands can be customized for all guests, and especially for AP holders. If the system will let you, do it. If it won't, don't panic.

Again, if you have more info or experiences to share, let us know.

I just did some of mine.. so you log into your MDE and then hover over in the top right where it says My Disney Experience and then scroll down to FastPass+ and go from there.

Hi Dee, Just wanted to let you know that I am staying at BCV's for the September trip through my DVC and I am able to set up the fast pass + stuff... I don't know if that drives a magic band or not but I have fast pass times (3) set.
