And I'd add don't hesitate to call about anything that can be fixed about your room. (I've seen reviews like "One of the lightbulbs was out, and it's too bad that it made the room kinda dark..." Well, they'll put in a new one!) Our tub was being
really slow to drain the first day; we called about it, and they sent somebody up to unclog it within 15 minutes. So far, so good; what makes the "Disney difference" is that the next day after Mousekeeping we found a little box of chocolates from Disney Springs and this apology note:
Oh, and I should mention, #1, the water was nowhere near as bad as I expected. I'm used to expecting "bad" tap water anywhere on the eastern seaboard. I've heard it's actually gotten better lately. And no, IMO it didn't have any effect on the smell of the room; maybe if someone were running the shower the bathroom might have a little mineral-y smell, but IMO not unpleasant.
Also (although I have a hard time living by this advice), take when looking at reviews on TripAdvisor,
Amazon, etc., remember that the people who had a bad experience are way more motivated to leave a review than those who had no problem. My review: Are there faults to find? Sure (price, pool size, perhaps the regular rooms are ready for refurb), but I loved my time at WL and am sad not to be there right this second!!
