I was just able to switch our three night stay at a royal riverside room on bounceback to garden view pofq rack rate. Cost an extra $60, but so happy to have gotten in! We just liked pofq so much better. Yay for more availability today!

Yeah I saw they are now $25 PLUS they are now tipping positions. They’re cute and all, but I definitely won’t use them when Lyft or Uber is still $10-12
If you change resorts you loose B.B. offer? It’s been a few years since I’ve used a B.B. offer but last time I did change and didn’t loose offer. Yay! My brother-in-law will be with us for a couple of days, and he needs a scooter. This will be very helpful for Resort-hopping as I am not super confident in his ability to get on and off of busses!

Okay, dumb question since I should know this due to staying here a few times before but... are there elevators in all buildings?
Thank you! I now won't worry about trying to request first floor. Makes my life easier!Yup.
Did you have free dining bounceback? We have free dining bounceback with sports booked. I wonder if I can change it to rack rate at POFQ but keep free dining?
No, you can keep bouncback status during changes of date and resort as long as your original booking was made on site. However the option you are trying to change to needs to be currently available on the system for new bounceback guests, which I presume was not the case here.

Bank of elevators in middle of buildings. You could request location close to elevators.
This is very true. My mom needed an ECV during our trip. The first few times on the bus were awkward, but by the end of the trip, she was a pro.If your BIL can walk on and off the bus, another member of his party can ride the ECV on/off the bus for him if needed. A great way to "practice" this skill is to take the buses to and from Disney Springs during the day; they are typically fairly empty, and if you let the drivers know that you are a scooter newbie, they will help you learn how to best maneuver the scooter onto and off of the bus.
The ramp is the hardest part for most people - and the only trick there is to just center up the scooter, and go s l o w l y . Coming down the the ramp, don't turn until all wheels are on the ground, and you have cleared the edge of the ramp.
Most folks are pretty proficient after a couple of round trips!
The DISabiltiles forum here on the DISBoards has a lot of great info for new/inexperienced scooter drivers.
Anyone knows if there's dairy in the beignets?
we will be arriving Mar 3. According to the original refurb schedule, it looked like building 3 was supposed to be done between Jan 23 – Feb 25, 2018. Anyone know the status on that?
Thanks Andre! Not what I wanted to hear, but apreciate the info! Probably not the room request to make if we want to come back for resting in the afternoons. They are running behind. The ground floor of building 2 is still closed, and building 3 has only just started refurbishment work in the last day or two so will probably be closed for another month or so.
