Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Strange. I wish YC CL gave you their direct number. CR did that.
Dear Jemtx: Let me know if you can if any changes were made. Since my experience in Oct/Nov was not the greatest maybe others did complain and they made changes.

Will do.
I’m almost afraid that maybe your experience was the tip of the iceberg of a downgraded experience.

Seems like an odd call to me. I’m sometimes reminded we as repeat guests often know a lot more than CMs who may or may not have knowledge or tenure to really know what they are saying - maybe they think they’re just making some useful chit chat but really aren’t? And frankly I’ve had the resort call from some who probably shouldn’t be put in that role anyway (Disney’s fault, not the CM).

As someone who doesn’t necessarily love the current YC/BC offerings change wouldn’t be entirely bad, depending on what it is!

We’ve seen it all at YC/BC. Excellent offerings gone to dismal- varied options with longer rotations to three lackluster options. To point where I complained every trip about the three rotations and was told by CMs new menu in the works and coming soon but every trip it was the same. Varied would be great!

June we thought the breakfast offerings were good. Snacks were okay. Dessert was very mixed with the major issue of running out of the good stuff. We had come from universal where the appetizers were much better but I still thought YC were fairly good.

There does seem to be A LOT of club level rooms still available for their busy season.

I even thought about BWI but SAB….if I knew the pool would definitely not be an option I’d try to switch but we usually get a few days in if it’s in the mid 70s.

Random search 12/23-12/27 shows CR CL rooms (std and TPV) for around $1600/night... plus tax. :wizard: The GF CL rooms are all in the 2k per night realm (add tax, please). That's lofty.

Have a Disney day, friend. :smickey:
I saw those CR CL rooms, but it didn’t seem like the AP discount was working on those. I got the AP discount for YC CL

Yes, I was just agreeing that there is still Christmas availability at Disney, which seems strange. But not after you see the prices.
Yes, agree all the resorts seem to have decent amount of club level availability for the holidays.

We stayed at the Poly CL in June 2023 and it was great. We are staying at the BW Club in January and am concerned about the food. I was watching videos and the offerings look mediocre at best.

My theory… someone posted that GF RPC no longer has the soup in the afternoon & the offerings seemed slimmed down. The poster said they were told management’s plan was to have standardized offerings across all the CLs. Maybe this is another step in that direction. I’m skeptical the changes will make things better.

I had read that somewhere too. However I was escorted to RPC and told more than once they have “elevated their experience” for their guests.

The were so many options breakfast and appetizers those I’d give a 10. Desserts just not as good as old days but pretty good I do 8. Midday? 5 . No soups, cold cuts or scones? They are missed.

Service is better. The cms are chatty and work hard to ensure things restocked and cleaned up etc. @sdk1231 I saw your dd as I was boarding elevator but when I got back I couldn’t find her.

Like @Eastern these prices are killing me. Changed our trip and now it’s DH,DD and me 12/29-31. DSil and DD 12/31-1/2. They got a puppy so somebody has to stay home for him. I now have to beg DS to watch on 12/31 from when DSil leaves until DH and I get back.

DH wanted CSR in GDT and DD wanted CBR so I booked them a king room. I keep changing my flights and I had some booked I totally forgot about.

CSR is great non cl. We love the Rix and 3 bridges.

I'm hopeful that the changes will be better not a downgrade...I don't think they can go much lower. :rolleyes1 They did listen and brought back the large plates. The YC has been our go to Epcot resort for many years but I am not paying CL rates for hot dogs and tacos. We have been staying at BWI and find the offerings much better. We will probably not go back to the YC until they improve the food offerings.
lotsolovinbear please report back on the changes.
