Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Fun! Have you been following the IPO discussion recently? It's been replaced by a new service called Disney Signature Services, but there were several months there with no service at all.

Reports are they have been calling folks with CL reservations (started last week), although I have several upcoming reservations and haven't heard anything. Below is the phone/e-mail I cut and paste from a PP. I'd go ahead and e-mail or call if you want to / need something, no harm in doing that.

Disney Signature Services: 407-939-7777, disney.signature.services@disneyworld.com

Thank you. I did notice that the original IPO service had been removed and was vaguely aware of a new service. I made both reservations several weeks ago and have not heard anything either.

Thanks for the email link, I will certainly drop them a line.

Yeah, all of this is "hot off the presses" stuff. They abruptly did away with IPO back in October/November (if I remember correctly). Since then there have been no pre-planning services being offered for CL guests and no way to contact Disney except for the general public number.

As of last week they've introduced this "Disney Signatures Services" thing which appears to be the new IPO, although it's centralized and not split up by any resort/resorts as the old IPO.

Reports so far seem to be positive.

When you e-mail them, make sure to include your reservation number(s) in the e-mail.

Good luck, let us know how it goes!

Part 1 is the AKL cl lounge.

This charging station below is underneath the seating bench in above picture. This section is right behind the check in desk and adjacent to the kids TV area.

This charging station is on opposite end of cl desk. It is right near the stairs that go down to floor 5.

We had a wonderful time! Check in was easy. I found the desk outside and we were escorted up to the lounge check in desk. We were offered Mimosas and I also asked for milk for my son who promptly ate 4 choc chip cookies!

Breakfast was the similar each day. The meat and cheeses rotated as well as the pastries.

They had plenty of staff and you could request beverages all day long. They confirmed Angry Orchard hard cider, several beers, 2 red wines and a chardonnay. The sangria and mimosas listed above as well. I was told you couldn't get straight up champagne but one day I did see someone with one so it depends on who you ask.

At 2:30 the chips n stuff left and cookies and scones came out. Usually there were brownies too.

Evening at 5pm like usual. The 2 hot appetizers were served warm by the chef. Some were friendlier that others. 8/10 we loved and 2 were meh. Overall tho, YUMMMMMMY!!!

Desserts were not the best. I am comparing to many other cl's. I just didn't care for them. The one night there was choc mousse so that was good.

I loved the little stemless glasses for my Grand Mariner!!!

Our room was 4423. I will post lobby, halls and animals on the AKL thread later this week.

Ugh I just couldn;t figure out sizing on my iphone7 so went back to good ol photobucket lol!

Oh and we scored a few chocolates too!

Yes I agree with this! We used to stay at CR for the MNSSHP and it was perfect for that! The walking path to MK simply can't be beat, especially with a stroller...
As far as the view, I remember our very first stay in the CR tower I was initially a little disappointed when I first went out on our balcony. But the view grew on me and it was definitely awesome at night for Wishes. I believe it's the odd-numbered rooms that have the view of the Castle right from bed - and that was definitely something to love!

I agree, the walking path can't be beat! I'm not sure just when we'll get a CR stay, but I know it'll be exciting, especially seeing the castle from our room :cloud9:.

Just booked a last minute trip to AKL-CL 3/26-3/29/17...can't believe I talked DH into it but we cannot wait!! Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated, considering the limited time to research. :) We will be traveling with DH, DD 9 & DS 3.

I can't help with tips as we haven't tried CL at AKL yet, but I wanted to say I hope you have a great time :wizard:.

Great pics, thanks for sharing! :flower3:

FWIW, I just looked at Trishadono's pictures from AKL CL, and they show how much changes in a short period of time. We were there this past August. At breakfast, there were no hard boiled eggs, meats or cheeses. It also looks like they've added some "make your own trail mix" kind of jars; that's new. The apps/desserts are on par with what we were served. But if there was Coke Zero in the fridge, that's new also.

The toiletries are different than what we received. Those look like what got from the CR; at AKL CL, we had the grapefruit stuff. Our turndown chocolates were AKL labeled however. Not that it matters, it's just an interesting change.

You mentioned a desk outside; is there a new place for CL guests to check in at AKL?

My DH is asking what is this? It looks delicious! May I ask about how many CM are working in the Club area at one time?

Evening Appetizers and desserts at the AKL cl.

The only elevators open are the "north wing" elevators. If you're in the lobby, you have to walk down that hallway towards Roaring Forks then take a left. It's another 20 second walk past Roaring Forks. This pic below is the third floor, but #3 is the location of the elevator. Should give you a general idea of where the elevator bank is located. (Ignore the other #s, I did this for something else)

After staying there, my only real gripe about construction is that you can't use the lobby elevators. It's not the end of the world but it would make general comings/goings from the CL lounge/floor easier/more convenient if the lobby elevators were open.

Hope that answers your question.

Wow, that a lot of walking. Thanks for the info!

There is a small freestanding desk with a sign indicating that's where to go. No one was there but as a man exited the lobby I just asked. He said someone was just there and probably took someone up. He escorted us inside and quickly found someone to walk us up. They we friendly and welcoming :)

Stew in bread bowl. I think that was the bunny stew with curry.

Ds and I loved the Sunday night scallop and shrimp stew. Dd loved the one that was spicy chicken over a sweet corn base.

There were men with suits discussing things a few nights. They moved the tables where the hot apps were and added lighting. That kind of thing.

Oh and it really varied from 1 or 2 to 6 inaddition to the 2 at the cm desk. Sometimes I didn't see anybody and asked for wine at the desk. They weee happy to do so.

@trishadono great pictures and info!

I have a (probably stupid) question regarding the drinks. Are they already mixed together like the adult Pog at Poly, or do I "make" them myself?
(1) Champagne mimosa with OJ or jungle juice. (2) Sangria made with Jungle juice and red wine.
