Yeah we were there a few weeks ago and saw some tall ones then a barge came out and was pounding on them all day until they were fairly low. I think it's way too early to be concerned ... I mean they know what getting dumped on for blocking the view is already, makes no sense to do it again.

ESPN and Disney today announced an agreement with PENN Entertainment to launch ESPN BET, a branded sportsbook for fans in the US. PENN Entertainment will rebrand its current sportsbook and relaunch as ESPN BET effective this Fall in 16 legalized betting states.

I hope not. I would hope they learned their lesson from the reception Harmonious received. Even the most casual of park goers hated the barges.

Pretty much the same thing Roy Edward Disney fought for back when Eisner was installed as CEO. He was a big believer in CGI early on.

If this doesn't move the DIS stock price today, Iger will be in a world of hurt. I'm not expecting good news from the earnings call as the Hollywood strikes are hurting things, and rumors are D+ is going further into losses as not many people adopted the the ad-based version. This will probably mean less content while raising prices and trying to force more people over to the ad tier.

It moved it some in after-hours, but WS only seems to care about streaming for Disney.

Yeah I’m expecting todays report to be Linear (TV) is still profitable and carrying the load for their media side, streaming will have higher losses from last quarter due to shifting costs and will also see a massive drop in subs from India because of cricket, and the studios still operating at a loss.

Parks will still be a profit engine, just their margins will be regressing back to the mean of how they operated in the past.

Updates Announced for Disney Dining Reservation System

Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort continue to roll out enhancements to simplify planning and make the Guest experience more convenient so Guests can spend more time enjoying their visit with loved ones. In the coming days, we will update how Guests book dining reservations to make it easier to discover and book reservations on the Disneyland website/Disneyland app and on the Walt Disney World website/My Disney Experience app. These updates include:

• Visibility of All Available Reservation Slots: Guests will see all reservation slots available to them for their selected dining location and timeframe on the Disneyland website/Disneyland app and on the Walt Disney World website/My Disney Experience app. Currently, only a few available reservation slots that fit the Guest’s selected timeframe are shown.
• Reservation Slots Sorted by Meal Period: Reservation availability will be sorted by meal period so Guests can view which menu is being served during the time of their reservation. For example, it will be clearer to Guests whether the lunch or dinner menu is being served at 4 p.m.

The updated dining reservation system is currently active on the Disneyland App. Hasn’t been implemented yet for Walt Disney World

I really liked it too. It's too bad they couldn't have figured out a way to hide those barges during the day. When the show was going on, it looked awesome!

The barges were also great for those early runDisney races. All lit up with the race logo on them.
