Sunday, May 19th - Day 5, Cont...

We're Here!!!!!


Rae and I.
We're ready to head over to Magic Kingdom!
Let's go, Let's go!
NOW!!!!

Finally we're heading over to Magic Kingdom.
It's 4:44




We're in the parking lot at 5:05, just an hour behind schedule.
You know I'm the schedule person...

Time to park
and catch a tram to the Transportation Center




We didn't purchase tickets ahead of time, because I just wasn't sure how many days we would head over to the Parks.

Jeff's never been on the Monorail, so It's time to catch the first ride... the monorail.
Remember how when you see the monorail at the station and you start running up the ramp to catch it.
Well, I started doing that and Rae and Jeff didn't follow so of course I had to wait on them
and
well we missed the train.
Jeff doesn't get in a hurry for anything at all.
No matter what!!!

Here comes the rain

We're just catching our breath as we admire the castle.

Where to go first...
HMMMMMMM

Space Mountain





Here comes the rain!
And when it starts raining everyone hurries to an indoor area and
YES,
Space Mountain is one of them. BOOOOO

The wait was 70 minutes
I don't think I've ever been on Space Mountain without a fast pass.
But when you arrive at the park at 5:05, all fast passes are distributed.

We wondered through the que and even behind an area that I've never been through or ever seen. Finally we're on the ride.
Space Mountain.


That was a blast and Jeff laughed the whole time...
When he got off he had tears running out of his eyes.
That was so funny.

Now on over to "The Little Mermaid" & The New FantasyLand!!

That was so much fun and so amazing...
I love Little Mermaid. It's one of my favorite movies and Rae's too.
The line moved really quickly. I don't think we stood and waited at all.

We loved Little Mermaid, it was so much fun.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarf's! Sure wish it was finished.






Rae absolutely favorite movie is Tangled!!!!!
It's her favorite...
So,
Now it's to find Rapunzel's Tower!




I love the Flags and Lanterns!!!

After Rapunzel's tower it was time to eat...

YUM YUM!!!

They had new pizza. Flat Bread Pizza
One of my favorites.
Dinner was yummy!

Do you remember from Rae's going away party - Rae's little kids?
Little B - remember I told you that her family were going to be in Disneyworld the day that we get there.
Well,
Rae had been talking to her mom, most of the day and they had been at their resort napping and they're finally up and heading to Magic Kingdom to meet up with us.

YES!!!!

I didn't have the camera out when Little B and Ms. Rae spotted each other but it was so cute with several tears.

We met up with them at Big Thunder Mountain and Little B wanted to ride it with Ms. Rae.

Now it's time for Splash Mountain
Little B wanted to ride in the front so that she could get wet, but as you can see her Papa and Grandmother we're in the front.

Sunday, May 19th, Day 5, Cont.


Rae is having so much fun with Little B. They just love each other.

It's time for the parade, we need to get a good spot so the little ones can see.

Jeff's only trip to Disneyworld was the one day 3 parks trip, where we came to Orlando to look at the Golf School for Eric. If you remember about 6:00pm they boys gave out and they were done. So, he didn't even see how fabulous puts on a Disney Parade or a Disney Fireworks...

Boy he's missed out!

So Time for the parade.
Rae and Little B sat on the ground right in Frontierland, over by the shops.
Really great seats.

I love this part in the parade. The dancers are so beautiful.










Jeff has a thing about Indians.


The Parade was fabulous, Rae and I loved it.
I think Jeff did, you just never know with him.
If it's not golf then he doesn't get overly excited about anything.

Little B's family went their way and we went to Main Street to find a great spot for WISHES!!! We wanted Jeffery to see how fabulous this fireworks show is.

Sunday, Map 19th, Day 5, Cont.



Hello my followers if there are any left... Please Be Some!!!!
Things have been so crazy that I haven't even thought about writing on my trip report, (No excuses)
But I'm back or at least I'm attempting to be back and attempting to finish our awesome Trip Report
Moving the Princess to Disneyworld!!!

Lots of fun information is coming up plus spending a few days in the Parks...



SO WHERE WAS I???



We just had so much fun with Miss B and her family,
but we didn't want to miss the Castle Show and Wishes and they were going on to Haunted Mansion.
So we said our goodbyes and parted ways! Such a fun time with them...

We worked our way to the castle after the parade to get a really great spot right in front.
NOT!!!
It was already packed
But we pushed our way in.

Jeffery loved it... He'd never seen such an awesome fireworks show in his life.

What an awesome day we'd had...
But tomorrow holds all the answers to her questions...
Where will she live?
Who's her room mate???
But the most important question...

WHERE IS SHE WORKING???

We left the park after the firework show. Made our way to the parking lot via Monorail.
Parking lot back to our Hotel.
We made it. Midnight.
Tomorrows going to be a really early morning.
Time for sleep...

Monday, May 20th, Day 6

Monday - May 20th
It's Here, It's here!!!!!!

I don't think I slept very much...
Not a Wink...

I got up around 6:00 and I woke her up too. She wanted to be there early enough to get in line.
The doors opened at 9:00 and we had heard that kids were getting there really early!!!

So we ended up not moving very fast. Our get up and go, was all out of getty up...

The plan was:
I'll ride over to Vista Way with Rae stand in line with her until they started the process,
Then I would let her go her way...
She's a big girl - She can do this all by herself
and I go my way...

So we left the hotel and made our way to check - in. It took us all of 7 minutes to get there.
We followed all the directions, and worked our way to where we had to park and then to the line.
Which wasn't bad at all.

Finally at 9:00 The line started moving and I went my way and she was off...

Disney had an area for parents to sit and wait, Coffee and other yummies.
In this area were tables for us to sit and a cast member was making their rounds handing out a Parents Booklet & Paper and Pen for us to write a note to our little Prince or Princess. The cast member said that they would deliver the notes to them in about 3 weeks.



So I wrote my letter
really emotional thing to do!!!!
When I finished it was time for a coke and I had better call Jeff.

So I made my way out of the gated area and on over to CHICK-FIL-A - just a quick 5 minute walk
I called Jeff and he was waiting for my call...
and he hopped in his truck and headed my way to pick me up.

We figured it would take a few hours...
So we had some breakfast and off we went.

Eric our oldest son, lived in Orlando for 3 years. While he was living in Orlando he was attending Professional Golfer Academy. (He's now an assistant pro at a country club where his Dad lives)...
So of course Jeff wanted to revisit the school and also head over to Dave Leadbetter Golf Academy - Eric worked there when he finished school.
One of Eric's roommates still works there and we wanted to stop by and say HI!

While we were in Orange County's Pro Shop my phone rang...
It's about 10:30
And It's her!!!!!

She's working in Magic Kingdom - Emporium Store...

So excited.... Right in the middle of all the action...



She's ready for us to come back to Vista Way... and pick her up...

Vista Way...
That's where she's living with 5 other girls...

Time to unload her car and Jeff's car and get unpacked...


We headed back over to Vista Way and meet back up with her in her room. She was one of the first ones there and so she claimed her spot.
The room with a bathroom. It looked like her roommate had already been there but was long gone.
We noised at her paper work and read that this was her 2nd College Program and her name was Sarah.




So we put some stuff on her bed and started unloading.










The other Bathroom! 4 girls share this one.







Time to eat.
5 Guys Burgers...



Then on to Target and Walmart...
To get the important things...

After shopping it's back to the apartment to decorate...

Monday, May 20th, Day 6, Cont.






What an exciting day...
We now know where she's working
MAGIC KINGDOM - EMPORIUM STORE
One of the most awesome stores in the Worlds...
and the most awesome park in the Worlds...

She's so excited...

We've been to Target and WalMart and spent our whole life savings.

Now

Back to her Apartment
and
Hopefully meet her roommates, since there are 6 girls living together...
We meet a couple of girls and Rae's room mate Sarah left Rae a note saying she would be back on Wednesday (this was Monday) she wanted to spend a few more days with her family.



Time to decorate!!!

Bathroom!!!
Bright and Colorful.






Her HALF of her Room!!!!
Disney Furnishes the bed, dressers, night stand, and the bulletin board, but the Cast Members' CAN NOT hang stuff on the walls.
So that's why the walls look so bare.











This little guy has been with Rae since the very first trip to Disney...
This is where she kept her "Key's to the Kingdom" and her phone...
and if you have read my Trip Report: The 3-Cabellero'etts Take a road trip, House Hunt & DW all during SB,
This is the baby that Stitch took...


We thought her HALF of her room turned out fabulous
and we're not really sure what her roommate was going to use on her bed but Rae wanted her part to be bright and cheerful.

We meet a couple of her roommates and found out that most of them we're going to be working in Magic Kingdom... Which is awesome!!!

After our day of decorating...
We were Hungry!!!!
Starving!!!!
So off we went to Downtown Disney!!!!
Rain Forest Cafe!!!!

So much fun!!!
There was about an hour wait so while we waited Jeff and Rae went over to World of Disney and I sat outside under an awning while it rained and called Charlie
I hadn't talked to my precious hubby in days... and I was really missing him.
They came back and it was finally time to head inside.
Food Time!!!!!!
Dinner was so much fun and yes we pigged out...

What a long day we had!! I was getting a really tired and so was Rae.
So
After dinner Rae decided that she would just come and stay with us tonight since she was starting to feel the nerves of being in Orlando without us.

We made it back to the hotel and crashed...

What an exciting day we had, so many questions have finally been answered, now one more day to spend with her in her home...
We're off to Disney Hollywood Studio's and Epcot...
I can't wait.

Tuesday, May 21st, Day 7


It's Tuesday and it was time to play!!!!

Rae had a day off before it was time to go to work...
Yes, She works in Disneyworld!!!
and she starts work on Wednesday!!!

So today was going to be a day of play!!!!!

Disney Hollywood Studios & Epcot...

Here we come!!!!!

I can't get Jeffery and Rae moving... Ugh!!!
They drive me crazy!!!

Finally we're on our way to DHS!!!

Disney can really do it right!!!!!

We wondered around and around this park riding
Tower of Terror - twice
Rock-n-roller Coaster
Watch the Little Mermaid
Walked through Walts Dream and saw the show
Went to Pirates of the Caribbean Show


We tried to do everything in this park that we felt like Jeff would love!!!
It's around 3:00 and time to move on over to Epcot!!!!

Tuesday, May 21st, Day 7, Cont.


Do you ever try to figure out which park is your favorite park???
One day your like...
I love Magic Kingdom...
because of FantasyLand, TomorrowLand, AdventureLand etc...
and the rides - Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, and Little Mermaid NOW
plus the fireworks and Castle Show
plus the parades

and then
the next day your like
I love Animal Kingdom the best
because of the Shows... FOTLK, Nemo
and the rides - the Yeti!!
and all the animals
and etc....

and then your like but I love DHS.... the best!!!!!
FANTASMIC, Beauty and the Beast
TOT, RNRC, Little Mermaid and all the fabulous information about Walt...
AND ETC.....

and then the next day
Your like I love EPCOT!!!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!
Because of SOARIN
and the Worlds
and the shows
and everything about the grounds - the beauty of it
it just goes on and on...

And then your so confused on which park you love the best...

Right

Because you just love them all sooooooo much!!!!
and you can't figure out which one you love the best.

Well that's me...
I just can't figure out which park I love the best

If someone came up to me and said
"Carolyn, I'm going to give you one free pass to one of your favorite parks in Disneyworld, for a year, which park would it be???"
I would panic...
I wouldn't be able to come up with the answer...

Could you????

They are all my favorite...

So now to my favorite park....
RIGHT NOW!!!

Epcot...

We finally made it over to this park.
Time to ride Soarin...
Because that's always the first thing I do when I enter Epcot...
Ride Soarin...


After Soarin we went over to The Seas with Nemo and the Aquarium and I saw this for the very first time...











I've never seen Mickey Under the Sea...
and that was AWESOME!!!!!!
of course Jeff and Rae were in other parts of the aquarium,
but I ran around like a chicken with my head cut off and found them!!!
and they came over to see the awesome sight... Mickey, under the Sea!!!

Now on around to Spaceship Earth...

and I went by myself...

We were moving pretty fast trying to hit all the rides that we could but now it's time to take a few minutes in Mouse Gears...
I took these pictures and sent them to Charlie because it had changed since the last time I was there..











Time for Test Track!!!!
We decided to do Single Rider Line...
but I don't guess I realized that Test Track had been through a huge HUGE refeb...

so I had to take a few pictures for Charlie to see.






Now It's time to head around to the Worlds....
